Etowah Valley Game Preserve

Took my son on his first bird hunt today here. Alex, crew and dogs were jamb up. Felt safe as can be being able to make sure my son was locked on next to me behind hay bales. They have ammo as well. I made the mistake of bringing some low brass. I am scratching my head why we have not done this before? Alex was very responsive and all there were great! Thank you

I always enjoy shooting sporting clays at Etowah Valley. The staff is nice and informative, the course is clean and well organized. The traps work, and the stations have a good range of easy to challenging. I’ve taken several people who were fist time shooters and they thoroughly enjoyed the sport as well!

What an absolutely awesome place, awesome salt of the earth people, and amazing experience! I am hooked! My 1st ever bird hunt and wasn't real sure what to expect. Alex made scheduling easy and proper suggestions where needed. Our guide Jim was a pleasure to be around and great at giving us pointers for a good hunt. Watching the dogs work, the scenery painted by the Lord himself, and a Blessed hunt made for one remeberable day. I highly recommend and.cpukdnt be more appreciative and thankful for the experience.

We had a great time.
Seen all our birds. We wound up with 68 quail out of 72.
We also got 10 chuckers.

I just went over the weekend. My boss took me and my co-workers for one of their guided hunts. I can't say enough about how friendly and welcoming everyone was from our arrival right up til we left. We split into 2 three shooter groups each having a guide with 2 dogs. The 2 guides we had were father and son, and both were just great guys. We couldn't have been happier or more satisfied with not only the job them and their dogs did. But also for the amazing time and experience we had! I have rated and reviewed a good number of places over the years on here. And if I was to pick one out of all of them as best deserving the 5 stars in my rating, it would be this place hands down. 👍🏼

Wonderful time hunting!! Our guide, Mr. Emery, was top notch!!! He made the whole experience even better. His pups, Ruthie and Axel, we’re amazing as well. Watching the dogs work was as much fun as anything! A top notch experience and highly recommend it!! We will definitely be back!

My first bird hunt at Etowah Valley Game Preserve was such a fun experience! From the amazing lunch cooked at the facility to the instructions from our guide on the hunt, It was a blast and stress free. I will be coming back soon.

We cooked the Pheasant and Chukkar on our Big Green Egg that night. They were delicious...

I hunted there for the first time last weekend with my brother, his dog and a good friend- we had a great time! Alex (the manager) is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating and has a nice operation going- the birds (quail, pheasant and Chukar flew well and we will certainly be going back. I'm going to try the Hungarian Partridge next time there.

Just did the clays and feather package with my 10 year old son last weekend. Very friendly staff at both operations. We had Emery as the hunting guide and he was exceptional.

Been there twice now. It has always been a great experience. Great flying birds with very scenic fields to shoot in. All around great place to hunt over your dog.

Great low key place to preserve hunt. People running the place are friendly and competent. Hunting areas have very good cover and are well policed and clean. Highly recommend.

We do a British hunt once a year here with Co workers. We always have a really great time.
