MT.Fuji Japanese Restaurant

It’s very hard to find a place to get Sushi in Fulton county. Luckily we have Mt. Fuji! Really great sushi and sashimi options. My wife loves getting the Japanese style hibachi meal, while me and my girls chow down on the sushi. I try to have a new roll every time I go. The Naruto was the newest roll I tried and really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to try another! They also offer takeout which is perfect on the go or dinner for home.

Fresh, Fresh and Fresh. Trying them for the first time. We did a pick up order and everything was packaged perfectly and ready when I arrived. The fish was fresh and well cut. I never thought we could find good sushi in Gloversville but we did.

The restaurant was well lit, clean and they even had some music playing. Only negative is the entrance is a little tight. Once you enter the door the hallway turns left and is a little tight if you have a wheelchair.

We ordered takeout and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! Well packaged, good portion sizes and the tempura chicken rolls were awesome (I'm not a sushi person). My family LOVES sushi and wouldn't stop praising thr godzilla rolls. Would definitely recommend, and we will most assuredly return!

On a very cold night, four of us found a warm welcome (and soup) at this friendly place that served high quality Japanese food. The sushi and hibachi dishes were very nicely prepared. Unassuming from the outside as just another storefront, the inside is nicely decorated and there is even a play area for small children. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back here. Very good value as well.

I travel for work and try sushi everywhere I go. This is one of the best tasting and priced places I have eaten at. Very much enjoy Mt Fujis!

This is hands down thee best Japanese food I have had and even more impressively, the best take out I've ever had. Their hibachi is on point and the sushi is *chef kiss* phenomenal. The staff are very sweet and upbeat. Highly recommend it here. I'm excited to dine in the restaurant itself!

This is the best place to get sushi in Fulton or Montgomery County, hands down. There are other Mt. Fuji restaurants but this is the one to go to! The sashimi is always fresh, their specialty rolls are amazing, the hibachi is great, and their house made ginger dressing is to die for too. I recommend this place to anyone who has ever tried sushi or even to those who haven't. They won't disappoint and their prices are reasonable too. I'd give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I get sushi from here at least 4 or 5 times a month and I have never been disappointed. My friends who eat sushi say the same things! Its amazing and consistent. Love this place!

Stopped in with the family in a whim for the first time and holy cow. Was not disappointed. The Volcano rolls were amazing. The habachi steak, chicken and shrimp... Fantastic!!!

Over the top amazing waiters. I went on a solo dine in trip and the 2 girls who waited on me were very courteous and friendly towards me. The food is always great and it’s always served timely. I return again and again.

My 'go to' place for sushi and Japanese food up here in Gloversville. The food is wonderful as is the staff. Not as expensive as is the competition in the near by town Amsterdam with same name. They are not connected. Strictly table, sushi bar seating and take out. Delicious.

Wonderful experience! I was skeptical, thinking that the food might not be authentic, but I was pleasantly surprised at how great everything was! Sushi was fresh, steak and shrimp combo was perfect. I'd recommend to anyone wishing for authentic cuisine, nice atmosphere, and wonderful wait staff.
