Maynard's Restaurant

Part 1: Excellent waitress that provided us with great service and good food. My wife and I split the Reuben. The bread was a little soggy, and the sandwich kind of fell apart. The meat was a little on the fatty side but not too chewy. I prefer the meat to be more lean and like a deli slice, just my preference. Cross cut fries were good, but could have been a tad more crisp. All that said, I ate everything! It all just tasted good. It is a fairly large place with a full bar. We'll be going back to try a few other things.
Part 2: We went back the next week, my wife had the French dip, and I had the Cranberry Wild Rice Turkey Melt. Both were so good! French dip was melt in your mouth. My turkey melt was again soggy in the middle and made it fall apart. Maybe next time, I'll leave the tomato off and sauce on the side. Not enough to give it a mark down because I ate everything again.

First time here after driving by it for years. Why I have not tried it sooner is a mystery, but better late than never. There was always a full parking lot so it should have been a clue to try it. Glad we did. Went there on a Saturday night so there was a wait, but not bad for a weekend. The atmosphere was good although it gets a bit loud and hard to hear. The service was great, especially for being so busy. The food was fantastic, nice beer/drink selection as well. We're looking forward to going back and trying more on the menu.

Morgan was our server and was really good at her job and genuine. The food specials are a nice option, tonight was chicken fajitas. Great drink options and a lot of TVs with a variety of sports options. The only downfall is the noise of you're trying to hold a conversation.

This was my first time at Maynard's. My dad lives here (I live in Texas) and recommended it.

We had a lovely lunch --- ahi tuna poke bowl for me, then hubs had the fish and chips (first time having walleye!), Thai chicken bowl for my dad, and Southwest bowl for his wife (I think that's what it was called). Everything was DELICIOUS.

I have some reading restrictions and there was no problem making modifications. Our waitress did a great job of caring for those needs of mine.

Mine was just enough food to be satisfied, but not overly stuffed. My dad's wife couldn't finish her bowl, though. But the amount of food you get for the price is a great value.

It's a pleasant atmosphere and fair prices. I'll be coming back the next time I visit!

First time visiting this restaurant after reading good feedbacks. We have a party of five dining. Each item we ordered has been spot on great.

Maynard is blessed to have Vince! He was the best waiter I've seen in yrs. His fun & positive attitude is infectious.

My wife and I went to Maynard's for the first time last night. What a great place! The interior of the restaurant is very nice, cozy and welcoming. We had the firecracker shrimp tacos and the steak quesadillas. Both were outstanding. We will definitely be going back to try some of their other food which I'm sure is really good as well. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. Thanks for a good experience.

Very busy place. Had a huge corner both for 2 people because there were no other tables open!
Spiked lemonade was really good! Thai rice bowl was ok. Needed a sauce. Fried mushrooms were fantastic!

Great food! Great staff! I really enjoy taking my customers to this restaurant. This place can get really busy but they always seem to be on top of everything and food comes out quick.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. If you make an online reservation they usually get us right in!

I met a girlfriend for lunch and the service was prompt. I had lots of input on the meals, I decided on having the ahi tuna poke bowl, so delish I took a photo for ya!
You can swap the tuna for firecracker shrimp which of course I tried 😅
10/10 you have to stop here, I also heard it's fabulous to watch sports!

Nice place. Went here in the afternoon. It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away. Only had appetizers and a couple of drinks, but would definitely come back.

Never been here before. If you are a party of 4 make reservations. We called ahead of time to check if a reservation would be needed for a party of 2.
Didn't have to wait long before we were seated. The place was packed. Our Waitress greated us and she was off and running!!
We order the 6 finger walleye appetizer. Are taste buds were delighted with the crispy outside and the texture. The fish was bursting with flavor. For our main course we ordered the reuben sandwich and asked for an extra plate because we wanted to split it. Best reuben sandwich I have ever sunk my teeth into. The waffle fries were excellent.
Would we go back here again? You can bet your bottom dollar we would!!

Great friendly service. Porkchop was so tender, waffle fries, Minnesota seasoned sour cream, and good fresh tea. Amazing food!

The food was excellent, our server was excellent. Great personality and very attentive to our table. It was a Friday night so it was really busy. Will be back.

Phenomenal French onion soup! Bartender was wonderful at giving me great service and amazing service as I was waiting for my ToGo food in honour of the incredible partnership with Cross Services! I just finished my Shrimp Scampi and it was lovely and the linguini was perfectly cooked.

Had a great meal here over the weekend. We had a large party and we were seated very quickly. Our server was very nice and attentive to us.
We ordered a lot of food and some of our party were splitting entrees and this did not phase the staff at all.

Everything was pretty good in regards to the food. The burgers and firework shrimp tacos were a standout.

Would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Pricing was a tad high for the area in my opinion, but it's justified.

Why so long?, I don’t know.
Dined with my wife while the MN Vikings were on tv.
It was a very rambunctious crowd.
Our dinner was quite good. Wait, better than that, I mean really good!
The cheering was nice to hear.
We’ll be going again real soon.
How do they make that tortellini taste so good?

Relaxing. Casual. Generous portions in today's world..2023. Actual happy hour specials...at today's more expensive prices, But! Not cheap portions & tastes great.. thank you. Hot wings & a bunch of deep fried mushrooms. Perfect!

Great food, fast and responsive service. Staff was very receptive to our large group.
