La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Artesia

Very nice and clean facility. Very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast options, easy access to very good restaurants. One of the nicest stays for us while visiting White sands, Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains.

Great customer service, clean rooms, bed was very comfortable, hot breakfast provided! Can't go wrong with waffles and sausage!

Everything was great. I would recommend fixing the back door. The sign on the door to pull the handle up instead of down makes the atmosphere feel a little cheap. I only felt that way because I am a locksmith so it just hit a sour spot with me. The pool was well maintained and we had a great time. Would highly recommend a stay.

Check it was easy, breakfast was delicious and the hotel was clean and quiet!
Whoever makes the biscuits for breakfast is the best, I haven’t had that good of a biscuit since I moved from Tennessee in 2019.

Only complaint is the pool is cold and the hot tub is closed off with a sign “closed to do Covid” that looks like it’s been there since March 2020. We just stepped over the caution tape and used the hot tub anyways.

We were passing through Artesia when our car's battery died. We were unable to receive towing on a Sunday night and stayed at the La Quinta hotel.
Thank goodness it was pet friendly. We were greeted friendly at the front desk by the night auditor. The next morning, Geneviev was the sweetest with letting us have a later check out and helping us with her winning smile.

Great hotel location in the Artesia area. This hotel has all of your basic hotel needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the night auditor is especially lively and hilarious.

The rooms are clean. The bed is too firm for my liking but not uncomfortable. I did not find the hotel walls paper thin, my sleeps always go uninterrupted.

Free breakfast leaves a bit to be desired but it's free! Coffee is delicious.

Hope to stay here more often 😁

Great service, friendly staff, great breakfast selection. Room was very clean and spacious, fit a baby pack and play with plenty of room for movement. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but that’s really my problem, since my husband thought it was comfy. They shower was great, glad sliding doors and big mirror, also very spacious. Highly recommend

Great place starting by friendly staff check in was fast. Room was clean. Our kids enjoy the beds. I rate 10, if you have kids this place is nice indoor pool a plus. Enjoyed the warm breakfast! will surely book again in our next adventure. Thank you all you are doing a great job.

Pleasantly surprised. This place looks brand new. Very clean rooms. Awesome service from everyone. Breakfast was very good. And coffee was always fresh.. there's a clean indoor pool and gym and even Truck Stop type parking (dusty) in the back. I know where I'm crashing when I come back.

Awesome quality lodgings. Clean and tidy with a great staff and tasty complimentary breakfasts. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This location is currently undergoing renovations but that didn't cause any concerns. There is a nice gym and an indoor pool at this location which is good because the whole city smells like a refinery. The staff were professional. This is a great budget-friendly stay before traveling approximately 1 hour to Carlsbad Caverns National Park.

A comfortable stay, with great beds and three different firmness levels for the pillows. Shower head has a few different settings to choose from. Breakfast could have used a couple more hot items, but I did appreciate the selection of healthier choices. There are complimentary chocolate chip cookies at check-in. The fitness center was pretty fully-featured and I was able to get in a good workout even on vacation. I didn't get to use the pool, as it seemed pretty full, but that's not the hotel's fault.

I'm saying this as a hotelier myself, the staff did a fantastic job and I look forward to coming back again.

Updated and new building with a nice reception area complete with lounge chairs, TVs, and tables. Pool looks good enough but I did not have time to go in.
The room was updated and comfortable. And the work out room on the first floor was everything I needed! Weights, treadmill, TV, and ab workout. Great way to start the day.

Standard free breakfast at a hotel, I enjoyed it, really nice decor and furniture in the room. Heated pool! It's 50 degrees at most during the day but we still were able to enjoy the pool during our stay. Very nice shower in the room as well. Absolutely nothing I didn't like

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always great. I really liked how the hot foods varied day to day. Our room was very clean. If we are ever travelling through the area again we will definitely be staying here.

I LOVE La Quinta! They love my dogs and don't charge extra. Reasonably priced, great people and service, and BONUS, a real hot and FREE breakfast! Very nice and comfortable rooms. If only ALL dog owners picked up after them, I carry extra bags and pick up other dogs waste as well. Please be a responsible dog owner!

Breakfast was standard, but that's not why I give it 5 stars. Everything was clean, staff were all very nice, everything looked new (remodel done recently?). Plus, this room cost a lot less than Carlsbad ones did, so 5 stars overall.

Oh man, this place was a God send after our 4 days of straight camping. We were quite impressed with the friendly and helpful staff; very clean and hospitable environment. The breakfast was more than just continental. For the 2 days we spent there they always had something new for breakfast along with the typical continental breakfast. They also offer a point system for staying with them at any La Quinta so that's an extra bonus for any of you frequent travelers. Swimming pool, gym and patios were clean and well stocked. They are card key entry only so you know that only
Hotel guests are allowed to enjoy these benefits. 5 stars for impressiveness in, customer servies, hospitality, future endeavors, and cleanliness.

From the moment I walked in the door, this place has taken care of me. The ladies behind the desk went out of their way to, not only check me in, but ensure that I got signed up for their rewards program. They were extra helpful and I very much appreciate that. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and aside from being outside the door of the ice machine (avoid these rooms if possible; people will fill up their coolers at 5 AM and it can get a mite loud), I'm pleasantly surprised. The breakfast bar is what you'd expect from a chain like this and nothing really stands out. The WiFi is also what you'd expect. All said, I'd definitely come back here!
