High Alpine Restaurant

The High Alpine Restaurant is one of the nicest ski lodges that we have ever stopped by for lunch in the middle of the day during skiing. The food was expensive but very good!

The best spot to stop for lunch while on Snowmass Mtn. Great variety of food to choose from in the downstairs cafeteria and the bartenders were friendly. The soups and pretzels were particularly tastey

Recommend the Ruben and sweet potato fries! Good spot to stop on the mountain and easy to find a table for a group of 6.

This was a regular lunch spot on the mountain. Views are amazing it's center of the ski area and the food is decent. Loved the salad and soups.

Make this part of your lunch plans for sure while skiing snowmass Moutain. Amazing bread! Ask nicely and the register may give you a local discount.

What a great place. The food, though a little pricy is high quality and the restaurant service is sensational, not to mention the view. They were able to cater to all dietary requirements in our group including vegetarian and gluten free. We are very sorry to hear that Snowmass Resort will not renew their lease. We will be very sorry to see Gwyn and George go, they have been such a long standing part of the Snowmass mountain scene, it won't be quite the same without them.

The food here is amazing!!! Prices are as usual expected for a ski resort. Most staff were kind and helpful, bar lady was not as attentive and I waited a bit before being served... I still would recommend this place it's excellent.

Wonderful well prepared and presented food. Today had the rack of elk, light cheese grits, salad, and chicken vegetable. We also had bison ribeye and Scottish salmon, that were enjoyed immensely, as good as it gets. This is a don’t miss restaurant! We eat here at least once every trip to Snowmass. Service is excellent. Great wine. You do get what you pay for.

The food here is fast and delicious I recommend this because it takes 4 people 30 minutes to eat there food. It is also very cheap

We will be so sad to see the family run restaurant change hands but we are hopeful for little or no changes be done to an already perfect haven for old timers that have been served by familiar faces throughout the many years of trips to snow mass. You will all be missed may god bless this new chapter in your lives!

Great place for a meal on the slopes. Tablecloth and napkins or the usual ski food line. Had elk and eggs, gluten free toast. Great meal. Expensive (hey, this is snowmass). Service was nice.

It is THE BEST mountain food in north America. Closing in 6 weeks. Go while you can. A part of Snowmass history...will be missed...I love Gwyn's...❤

Classic mountain staple that's been there since forever. Fantastic customer service with a great mix of tourists and locals. Great food and even better atmosphere and view.

This place is incredible. Great views. The best meal I have ever had. I had the elk special. We had the trout as well as the duck pasta. Services was excellent.

Awesome on mountain restaurant. Have both a sit down restaurant and a more traditional cafeteria. Restaurant was just renovated. A lot of delicious lunch options. There is a bar as well.
