Beautiful lake that you can swim, float, paddle board, snorkel, or fish in. Lots of picnic areas, pavilions, and a kitchen you can reserve. Hiking and biking trails. Playground. Spacious bathrooms with showers. Camping areas. Requires a Discover Pass. $10 for a day pass or $30 for a year (good at any WA state park). Dog-friendly! My 4 yr old had a blast in the water. Water was a comfortable temperature and felt amazing on 80° day. I lived near here for the last 5 years and can't believe this was my first time there. We are definitely going back with our dogs and planning a camping trip also. Large lake, so lots of places to enjoy peace and quiet as well.

Great features, lake, trails, swimming, fishing, showers. Very hammock camping friendly, but bring your extra long straps as many of the trees are very old and large, over 100" around. A unique feature is being beside a lake in the middle of very old forest, but still only a short drive or long walk from downtown. For those who need internet bars to survive, or like a nice diner breakfast on going home day, and the local ACE hardware is practically at the camp ground entrance. Best of both on and off grid worlds.

This is one huge park with campgrounds, restrooms, picnic areas, fishing friendly, a playground and a huge trail system linking to other trail systems!! Super beautiful and relaxing to be in those woods!

We loved our time at Lake Sylvia! We camped three nights and had a blast biking, swimming, paddle boarding, and exploring. 90+ degree weather landed us all (4 adults, 2 kids) in the lake everyday in order to cool off! Camp sites around the perimeter are all good while those in the middle are nice but a bit exposed. All sites were full and it wasn't too loud. Bathrooms were stocked but muddy, which I suppose happens. We plan to go back next summer.

Such a great park for hikes, non motorized water fun and always friendly staff! A must visit even if just for the day

Great little kayak lake, with fishing too. Really liked the shower bathrooms and how much room there was in each with locking doors. I had a group campsite for just me and my son. Nice "hiking" trail around the lake.

It's my first time visiting Lake Sylvia. This lake is gorgeous, and what is nice about it is that you can fish, kayak, and camp there.

Day Pass Required throughout the park. You can purchase a day pass for $10 or $33 for the whole year.

The boat launch is small, and only electric motors are allowed on this lake.

A sparkling gem of a park, something for all ages and levels of mobility. Kids and adults can swim here, picnic, play, hike, bring a small boat, fish, or just laze on a sunny day. It is quite a remarkable surprise of a park, tucked down into the forest and opening up beneath a break in the canopy. Bring lunch or a coffee, watch the mist rise off the water, wade or walk, read or snooze. Wonderful park for families!

This little lake is perfect for a calm little getaway. I didn't swim or use the facilities but they look very clean and well maintained. Plenty to explore here and myself and my family will definitely be back. It's only a couple miles from the highway. $10 for a day pass or use your state park pass.

Beautiful trails! We went on a 3 mile hike. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and we also had a 5 year old who didn't struggle at all, was perfect for us. Then we swam in the lake. So so beautiful and it's our new local favorite place!

Grew up here but never appreciated the lake for what it is until I came back to visit after living in SoCal for over 20 years. Lake Sylvia is truly a gem. Beautiful. Peaceful. Serene.

Discover pass required!!!
The swimming area is really small n quickly goes deep. The camp site seems narrow but some spots are good water access. Passing playground n follow the path, you will see a dam. You can across n go other side n thete is a trail.

The log pavilion is absolutely beautiful, and free, first come ? I think... 😀 Worked out great for a little birthday party, but is accommodating for much more... location is top notch and lovely...

We had a lovely weekend camping at Lake Sylvia State Park. It is a bit tight to back a trailer in some of the sites (saw several people struggling, including ourselves), but it is a great park for swimming, fishing, hiking, etc!

I took my two kids (4+9) swimming here on the day after the 4th of July. There were other families but not as busy as I expected on a 90° day!
It is a nice state park with camping, walking trails, a playground and public swimming area. There were also people enjoying the river all over, the main area is nice for kids. We didn't camp but enjoyed everything else and I definitely want to go back and camp next time.
They have bathrooms with showers that aren't the nicest but definitely not the worst bathroom I've seen at a park! You do need a Discovery pass or I think it's $10 to park.

I absolutely love it at lake Sylvia! Its my go to place for a good run. The trails are beautiful. So much natural beauty to see. They have kayak rentals a dock to jump off of. Theres a good amount of beautiful camp sites, restrooms showers and play set for the kiddos. If you're coming to the harbor and want to see a beautiful lake, this place is the place to check out! ❤🤙

We camped at the lake over 4th of July weekend and the girls working at the office and up keeping the ground where amazing. The customer service, friendliness and overall professional service was above and beyond. Our group of 4 families (and 4 sites) enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to come back. Thank you, camper #11.

Beautiful location. The hiker/biker spots were small, but super nice to have access to a shower, water and a beautiful lake to swim in.
