Hands down the best recommendation I have had coming to Mohawk Valley Orthopedics. Dr Cecil and team were extremely professional and very accommodating to taking me earlier than my appointment. Office visor, pre-op surgery appointment in the same day. Surgery to follow the following Friday. No pain, easy to talk to staff and very friendly.

Dr. Ortiz has successfully completed two surgeries on me and has treated multiple injuries for my daughters. She and the staff are always professional, timely, and genuinely caring about your recovery.

I have always been treated with respect and kindness by the staff and the doctors.

Five stars solely based on the nurse that wrapped my leg with the cast. I wish I got her name she was fantastic. That woman deserves a raise regardless of what she's getting. She's an angel and I hope she knows she made my day a little better

Abigail Johnson has been the only doctor to actually pay attention to my shoulder issues and set me up with Doctor Ortiz who did a wonderful job repairing all the damage in my left shoulder. Looking forward to him fixing my right shoulder next. So many people say beware of shoulder surgery yet here I am under 2 weeks post op and doing great! Barely any pain and already able to lift my 1yr old up carefully of course. Thank you Doctor Ortiz! Thank you Abigail for not neglecting my needs like others have ❤

Doctor Ortiz is fantastic and has taken care of my orthopedic needs for over 20 years. You aren't just a number here. He cares about your individual medical needs both physically and emotionally and always has the ultimate goal of rehabilitation, utmost function and quality of life in mind.

I can't speak for anyone but myself. I have a good feeling with these people, they have help me and my girl cope with different pain. I have been seen by Dr. Cecil Russel and the treament he has given has been effective in my life. I suffer from Gout and degenerative disease, I have no cartilage in my knees but he has brought my pain level down. Great Doctors..

Been patient of Dr Cecil for a long time. Had 3 successful shoulder surgeries. He's treated me for many other issues. If I can't see him for a appointment Diane takes great care of me.Love her.👍

Dr. Popper and the entire staff at Mohawk is wonderful. I had minimally invasive back surgery back in May, to free up some pressure on a nerve that was causing drop foot, and it was the best, easiest, most convenient medical procedure I've ever had. Highly recommend him.

This office has it's own MRI department. The ladies there, Mary Beth the office manager and Katie, the MRI tech were wonderful to me and made it all easier. Thank you.
