The Bakehouse

We took a weekend trip to Pinehurst and Southern Pines and someone recommended we check out Aberdeen.

We popped in and my husband ordered a cream filled baked item (I was busy looking at my phone and missed what they call that sweet) but he devoured it so I can assume it was delicious, & he also ordered a coffee and I tried the mini croissant. It tasted just like it came from a French bakery. It was very good!

The place isn’t fancy…the coffee is okay but they obviously have lasted decades in business for their fresh, homemade & reasonably priced baked goods.

The desserts are phenomenal, exceptional, & delicious ❤‍🔥 I try to stay away from here because choosing just one is difficult.....
This is my favorite local Aberdeen Bakery. I love them. Always friendly service. You can also have brunch.

Great food & service. My husband & I got out 50th Anniversary cookies for our vow renewal!! Delicious!!! Sandwiches were very good as well!! Highly recommend

Decided to have lunch at The Bakehouse today. Very good decision I had a grilled chicken Caesar salad and My husband had the Schnitzel sandwich. Everything was delicious and the staff was very pleasant. We also bought one of their homemade Sticky buns to take home along with a Baguette for tomorrow. We will definitely be returning to try more of their food.

The Bakehouse did an amazing job on my daughters wedding cake! It was absolutely beautiful! I had contacted several bakeries in Fayetteville and found the customer service to be very poor. None provided actual help in designing a cake and making recommendations. Then I found The Bakehouse and what a game changer. The Bakehouse turned an otherwise frustrating experience into a great one! They were super easy to work with and provided outstanding customer service. They even had a cake tasting session with my daughter and son-in-law. The wedding was in Fayetteville and they delivered the cake and put the real flowers on at the venue (Studio 215). We opted for butter cream frosting because nobody likes fondant but use it because it makes the design look better. However, look at the picture I posted. Gorgeous right! Do your guests a favor and get butter cream! I highly recommend The Bakehouse for all your cake and bakery needs.

You have probably never thought “I want to rave about the taste of my bread” while eating a sandwich…. But that is what happens when you get a loaf of fresh bread from The Bakehouse!!

This place will show you why European’s love their bread. There is texture, there is flavor, there is Fresh.

As as an added benefit, being an authentic European style bakery, they let their yeast rise much longer than American bakeries, which dramatically reduces the gluten content of the bread … this means that if (like me) you are gluten intolerant (not allergic) there is a good chance you can enjoy this amazing bread with no problems.

Words CANNOT describe the sheer quality of their German quisine, coffees, and desserts. Whoever left a review less than five stars can just stay home in their mansion or go to McDonalds. More for us!

The chefs are amazing at Bakehouse. I brought in Pinterest photos for a baby shower and the final product was identical. They also accommodated us very last minute. Everyone at the event loved the cookies and cupcakes, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend The Bakerhouse!

Delicious!! Honestly I stopped because I needed a lady’s room but the place was clean and the people were nice and I got my some a pretzel which he says was delicious!

Stopped in for lunch and got the lobster 🦞 bisque! It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely go back for lunch if I am in the area! They have cases in front filled with scrumptious looking baked goods . From the restaurant area you can see into the baking kitchen.

Called ahead to order some of their wonderful home baked breads. This is a wonderful place not only for breads, pastries, sticky buns, cakes, and so on, but also for a delicious breakfast or lunch!

Amazing! Their burgers got me through first part of my pregnancy. Service is great. Pastries are tasty too!

The Bakehouse is fantastic. 10 days before my wedding I asked if they could make a grooms cake. Then they suggested it would be much trouble to make my wedding cake. They even did a tasting! SO YUMMY. The John Deer Ball cap was actual size. The wedding tiers were lemon and strawberry. Service was excellent! Cake was delicious! Oh and their french toast for breakfast is fantastic!

All I’ve got to say is this place is amazing! We love going to lunch here. The golfer burger is a perfect representation of Moore county. The bread and garlic sauce is amazing, and the staff are very friendly. Deserts are delicious, have a lot of flavor and good pricing.

Thank you to The Bakehouse for making such a fantastic birthday cake for Kaitlyn’s 17th birthday celebration. Lemon raspberry cake that looks like a fairy garden. The Best of the Pines!

The Barcelona Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. We love this place. We live in NYC, but we make sure to come here every time we’re in town. They also did the macaroons and cake for our wedding and did an incredible job. Staff is phenomenal and food is off the charts!! Love this place

Very cute and friendly place. I bought Cro-nuts for breakfast. They serve lunch starting at 11 ......hoping to go back for lunch. 🥐☕

All the taste and quality of a big fancy bakery but sweet and lovely small town charm in the ambiance

I've tried a variety of desserts from here and they were phenomenal!

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious breads and sweets. With that old main street look and feel. Great place.
