Joe and Sam’s

Their coffee tastes very good and the baked goods are phenomenal. Decor is country chic with good mood lighting. The interior seating is decently comfortable (probably good for 2.5 hours) and the outside seating area is definitely a vibe. Downside is there is not a lot of sound absorption from other customer conversations, so it echoes very easily inside the seating area, making the experience less enjoyable with the loudness of others.

I have tried several of their pastries and they're always so fresh and tasty. Apparently they have an in house chief. This is very apparent by how awesome the food is. Service is really great and the coffee is worth it for the price.

My first time ever coming to Joe and Sam’s and what a beautiful coffee shop!! Employees were so kind and personable. I got the turkey wrap with a side of broccoli cheddar soup which was absolutely amazing! I will be definitely coming back. Plus they had so many options, clean bathrooms, surplus of space, and wifi!

My go-to place in Watkinsville for breakfast or lunch. The Staff is awesome! Wonderful food and service.

Nice to have another good old fashioned, “home cooking” place in Watkinsville. The biscuits are phenomenal! There’s a wide selection of baked goods and pastries. I plan to head back to try out the soups, salads and sandwiches they offer for lunch soon! Friendly folks and great atmosphere...

I thoroughly enjoyed an omelet, buttermilk biscuit, and non-fat latte made with Jittery Joe's espresso! Great service! A co-owner stopped at our table to check on us. Customers order at the counter then take a seat with a number. Our order was brought out to us.

Wonderful place, easy to get to... Even has a drive thru. Inside is cozy and socially distant. Biscuits and coffee are delicious and staff is happy and helpful!

We love this place. I especially love the cinnamon roll but I usually take that home for later in the day. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are awesome and large, you will not leave hungry. Coffee is also great, I generally try different ones to change it up.

It is always a pleasure to go to Sam and Joe’s! So many reasons. The team greets you when you come in, verify your order to reduce mistakes and if something isn’t right, the team will correct it right away without question. There is a meeting room if needed. Restrooms are always clean. Kim is one of the nicest people I’ve met! She cares about who comes in. On top of that, the food and baked goods are on point! They use Jittery Joe’s coffee line so if you like them, you’ll be in good company.

I work from home here from time to time. They have plenty of plugs and seating.

Two of us enjoyed great lunch selections and indulged in some fresh-baked goodies to take with us for a later dessert. There also was a selection of tempting souvenirs.

The inside dining space was a little warehousy. I think it would benefit from "softening" up and maybe additional lighting.

Best chai I've had! Seriously delicious. Wish they had longer hours.

I was sad to see Keba close but Joe and Sam’s is the best answer. They have great coffee AND good food. I don’t know why more places don’t have good coffee and good breakfast. Big ol biscuits!! Great atmosphere also.

OMG, why haven't we been here before!!! We were missing out! Came in for breakfast on the 4th. Super close, super friendly, super cute inside, and not crowded. She had the egg plate and I had the breakfast burrito. Came out quick. The bakery case was mind-blowing and looked scrumptious! PROBABLY THE BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!! We'll be back!!!!

We enjoy dining in here. They have a good selection for breakfast when we go in. We’ve had their biscuits and omelets and coffee and lattes. Our favorite is the butter pecan latte for our drink. We’ll continue to support this business. We’d love to see some type of promotions.

Everyone is alway’s so nice! The food is amazing.

This is our go-to brunch spot in/near Watkinsville. When their biscuits are fresh, they're unmatched. The bacon here is the best I've ever had. All the coffee options are great. Love this place. My only complaint is it seems like it's always busy, and could use some sound dampening inside.

The most beautiful, magazine worthy pastries and nicest staff around! Nikki took my order. She was super helpful and warmed up my pastry!!

Stop while passing thru. Ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was very good. The place is nice and clean too. Highly recommend.

This is my go to place whenever I have to meet someone for lunch, but they have more than just lunch.
I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've ordered and I've always been able to find a seat.

Tip: if the weather's nice, eat outside because it tends to get loud indoors.

Food recommendations:
The BLT - it's perfect. Not too much lettuce, just enough bacon and the bread is perfect.

The Cinnamon bun - perfect for a table to share or for munching on through out the day.

The Chai Latte - it's the best thing on the menu, and I love their menu. My friend forced me to get it and I became addicted. It's not to sweet and it's full of flavor.

AMAZING CATERING!!!! They really did the most amazing job! Fresh everything! Used them for sons rehearsal lunch and we couldn't be more pleased. Not only were sandwiches fresh, they had it on time and bakery was the best ever! I contemplated not using them because we thought we might need something fancier. The amount of compliments we received, we picked the right place! Kim the owner is personable and easy to work with. Sara the baker - good thing she is not my friend or I'd be 300 pounds. The cupcakes were heavenly! Thank you so much! You all helped make this day a success.
