We have been here 3 times and find something new each time .the oldest city in usa that hasn't changed much in the last 1700 years. Pottery from the locals is fantastic ! The mission is a time capsule a must see ! Great museum and artifacts display fantastic.

This was part of the tour, see my review of the nearby Cultural Center. No pictures are allowed inside the church. It does sit on a beautiful vista. Listen to the stories about the cultural beliefs of their graveyard.

Beautiful adobe church with a lot of history. Original wooden altar beautifully decorated, confessionary walls and church floor made of Adobe. I was told ,and not by the guide, that the reason why no pictures can be taken is because part of the bodies of the pueblo that built the church where in the walls of the church.

This church is beautiful. The altarpiece is one of the finest in New Mexico and the blending of Spanish and Native styles is quintessential New Mexico. All tours to Acoma usually involve a stop at the church.
