This laundromat is always clean and there’s always a helpful, friendly attendant on duty.

I'm from out of town and googled this place to find it, absolutely love it! Super clean and friendly environment. The attendant was a very nice lady I didn't ask her name but was extremely helpful. I will be coming back here when in town again.

I came to George Laundry, because where I usually go was so busy. I was delighted to see that they had ample washers and dryers. Not a one size fits all at all. They had four different sizes of washers for different size loads. The dryers were not so hot that they burned my clothes. even the clientele seemed a cut above where I’m used to doing laundry. I’m not even using a laundromat for very long, so I really didn’t know that there was much of a difference. I’ll learned something this trip. I’ve found a new place to do my laundry!! the equipment is very up-to-date and clean! I was so impressed with how clean the entire place work and they’re equipment. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and pleasant. They also do a wash dry fold service. I’m not sure the pricing on that but I will take advantage of the need arise. I had a couple of questions that were addressed mediately with common sense and professionalism. It’s a pleasure giving good reviews. I enjoy that and this one is certainly deserved. No complaints!!

My dryer recently went out and while waiting on it to get resolved, I found myself needing a laundromat. Excellent place! Even though they were recently flooded, they were back up and rolling! The tile had been removed due to the water damage, but you could hardly tell they had had any damage. AC cooled, clean and well maintained with a bathroom, coin changer, laundry detergent, laundry booster, fabric softner and other dispensers for your convenience. Pop and candy vending machines and coin operated games. They have a drop off service as well.

I can tell they keep this place clean consistently. The attendants were really helpful and polite. They have simple coin operated washers and dryers without all the bells and whistles, which I appreciated after a recent encounter with a money card operated laundromat. They also have the big load washers as well with all the bells and whistles as well, but I did not need those. I did have to add my fabric softner when the rinse cycle started as they did not have a dispenser for it, but that seems to keep a patron alert to their laundry and thus keep people from leaving laundry to long (if they want their clothes softened). 😁

I never made it to the back, but I saw a picnic style table with benches back there and additional machines. I will be back!

SGL was just what I needed when my dryer quit on me last week. Their store is clean and well kept. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The washers and dryers were all in good condition and did a great job on my clothes. I was able to get about 10 loads of laundry washed and dryer in under three hours. Highly recommend.

Nice set up in the front and in the back. It was really quite as well as clean in this establishment. The staff was keeping busy while making sure the customers were still all okay. There was also some information around the building about fun things in Amarillo. There is even games to keep you or the kids entertained. The bathroom was really clean and smelled good overall. This isn't a good location and would recommend going here

The fluff and fold service is hands down amazing! Affordable and always on time. The facility is always top notch clean and the staff is extremely friendly. I love that this mat takes pride in what they do.

I have not needed the services of a laundromat in a number of years. However, today I found myself with mountains of laundry, and a dryer on the fritz; and it was Christmas Eve to boot. The Staff and Owner were very friendly, and extremely attentive to my needs. The facilities were immaculately clean. I highly recommend this business. Great people and wonderful, efficient service!!!

Love this clean and well air conditioned laundromat. I live on the North side of town and will drive over here because the facility is kept clean and washers are wiped down pretty much after each use. The women working there are pretty awesome. Yep do recommend.

This is a very clean and up to date facility. I needed this I. An urgency and the came thru. On a Sunday when I'm usually home with the family, had to unfortunately use this place due to plumbing issues at home. Wow! New machines and
the owners were super nice.

We love taking our clothes to the south Georgia Laundrymat. They are all so nice and kind,caring will go out of there way to help you. It's a clean environment.The owners and staff are amazing. 😊

Excellent laundromatt! It has good amenities including vending machines, two TVs, a Galaga/pac man machine, and the cutest little weiner dog named Harley. Lots of space and plenty of machines for a good price.

We lost our travel trailer in the Palo Duro tornado on March 13, 2021, and we live in Alabama. After recovering everything we could, the owners let us come in after "last load" time and stayed with us until 1am to help us save recovered clothing that we had stuffed, wet and muddy, into bags. They even helped us, and they would not accept extra payment! They helped a bad event be not so bad and prevented my 5 kids, my wife, and me from losing hundreds of dollars of clothes, sleeping bags, and linens. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!

Best and cleanest Laundromat in Amarillo. The nicest people ever!! Not the newest but I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

I like the old owners but the new owners are even betterthey do my laundry in a timely fashion they absolutely do not charge me enough I'm a truck driver and I appreciate everything about this business. I have no reason to buy washer and dryers on his these people are in business
