South Cobb Diner

I had Blackened salmon with mashed potatoes and black eyed beans. My food was great. My husband is very happy with his burger also.
We showed up 15 minutes before they closed (4pm) and they still took our order.
Overall I recommend experiencing this town and this restaurant. Ladies that work there are great and easy going.

Everything is top notch! Fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, meatloaf, salmon, and the brocolli casserole.

Love love this place when me and my daughter go in there. There is beautiful African waitress with beautiful skin. I don't know her name but she's always our waitress. Love love her.

The karaoke is great. Colt makes sure everyone has a good time. People are nice. Food is pretty good.

Seem to be Lil short staff on waiters & waitress but that is understandable.... we go often but today was a Lil longer wait on our food. The food was WORTH the wait. Very Delicious

I love this place! I enjoyed sip and paint with my coworkers here. It was great and everything went well. Thanks Corey and his wife Dannie( not sure if I spell Dannie correct) for working so hard. I will return soon

We have dined in and ordered takeout many times. We really enjoy the food and have tried multiple things. Tha mac and chz and greens are good. Meatloaf, burgers, pork chops have all been good. Definitely recommend for comfort food, there's only a few spots in the area with comfort food. This one is worth trying.

The food is very flavorful and generous portions especially for the price. The restaurant has a down home feel with good service from the waiters. My family has gone several times now and never disappointed with our visit.

My family and I LOVE this place. The food is absolutely AMAZING and the staff is super sweet. It's like going to have dinner with family, they make you feel so welcomed. The only thing I will complain about is the fact that they close at 4pm on Sundays, we wish they stayed open later! We make it a point to visit every chance we get! I would give 10 stars if I could.

Oh My.....the food was delicious!! Collards were better than mine and I'm going to change mine, black eyed peas tasted like I cooked them, country fried steak was delicious and I'm going to try and replicate the Vidalia onion gravy at home!!! Staff was busy getting ready for a group of 70 coming in but still took great care of us at our table!!! 3 of the team checked on us several times!!!
So many good looking dishes on the menu that my wife and I are regulars now!! Hahaha planning our next visit already!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great service and great food! Portion size was nice as well! Needless to say the Chicken & Waffles were delicious as well as the Pecan Pork-chops! Will be back! Y’all stop in too if y’all are in the area and want some good home cooked food!

Love this place for good home cooking. The fried pickles were a great starter. I enjoyed the catfish sandwich (which was light and flaky on a buttered bun) with a side of broccoli casserole. I tried my daughter’s serving of meatloaf, and it was tender and very tasty. The green beans were seasoned well and did not come from a can. My husband’s Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes were a fave. The collard greens were cooked to perfection. Yes! I sampled everyone’s dish, and I loved ALL of it. The wait staff is personable and fun. Our food was served within 10-15 minutes. I definitely recommend them and will return soon.

The best thing about this place is coming together with friends. We karaoke late Thursday afternoon, early evening. Colt (KJ) is the best and being with our friends is priceless. The food is fine but not over the top. The service can be a bit slow but we are not is a hurry when going to this place.

A great variety on the menu. Food came out as we had seen online, and tasted just as good as it looked. Happy to see a good southern meatloaf with red sauce and all my southern veggies. Yummy. All the greens had meat in them other than coleslaw, so limited vegetarian options.

1st time eating here, arrived for Sunday lunch at 11 am, greeted & seated immediately. Server was knowledgeable about menu & made suggestions. The fried pork chop plate has 2 pieces & the collards are awesome. The wings plate does not come with sides, you have pay extra. The staff is friendly & the prices are fair for the quality & portions.

While I simply have loved another popular Cobb Diner for 30years, it is nice to have breakfast in a pleasant, quiet restaurant with a delicious breakfast menu. The ingredient combinations are elevated and a true compliment to Southern Cuisine. The interior is spacious, clean and minimalist with pictures on the walls that pay homage to historic Austell. For the Trainspotters, there is an area of the restaurant that has a window that allows one to watch the trains go by. A full bar is in place. There is plenty of room for large parties. The coffee is delicious btw.....

A very fine place to go to for soulfood. Friendly faces and from what I hear karaoke and multiple drinks such as pink p*&#@cat with prices that are in your budget.

This veggie plate was the best one I’ve had in the area! The broccoli casserole is flavorful, along with the mashed potatoes. The okra I threw in the air fryer for 5 mins and then they were the crisp I prefer. Mac is cooked well and they added cornbread which was a tasty surprise. Will order from here again! Great find!
