The Painted Lady

What a wonderful shop! The shop keeper and owner were both so considerate of us and we found something exquisite there that we cherish just by looking in the front window. The shop keeper took great care with every detail. There were so many unique, extraordinary, beautiful , charming items that we would have loved to buy, But we chose the one we fell for from first sight, and hope to return again when back in town. Amazing thoughtful considerate people with an irresistibly lovely shop. Thank you.

Not the greatest assortment of stuff, but what they have is very nice. The sales staff is very friendly. Bought a painting that I love and wanted to buy a throw made in India but restrained myself.

Great inventory of cool stuff!

Came in looking for unusal items found a few things few nice finds but the older blonde lady made us feel uneasy she acted paranoid we had our phones with pictures on them trying to show her what we where looking for ... she totally moved to the otherside of the desk and said please don't take my picture ... and got kinda of weird acting which immediately changed the vibe of us buying anything from the painted lady we walked to the antiques store on the same side of the road and had a very awesome experience ....

I wasn’t in the store 40 seconds before being approached by the woman. She approaches potential customers with an aggressive demeanor. I was interested in the pair in the pic and took a photo to show my sister when she started walking by and glaring at me then she stops and crosses her arms and asked if I was taking pictures and tells me not to take pictures. She then asks if I’m comparing prices. If you’re that concerned I’m comparing prices you’re probably trying to take advantage of your customers. Maybe sell something one of a kind if you’re going to be that protective of your products and don’t interrogate every person that walks in the store.
