Having immersed ourselves in the museums of St. Augustine, my wife and I found our appetites calling, and with prior knowledge of Burrito Works Taco Shop, we opted to make it our destination for a quick and satisfying meal.

Stepping into Burrito Works, we were immediately taken by the lively atmosphere. The sight of people relishing their tacos and burritos hinted at a promising dining experience.

Upon perusing the menu, our choice landed on the Chicken Tacos. The service was both prompt and exceptional, swiftly delivering our order to our table.

The Chicken Tacos surpassed our expectations, delivering a delightful combination of flavors. The expertly cooked chicken infused with a harmonious blend of spices, made each bite a savory delight. Without hesitation, I recommend Burrito Works Taco Shop is a must-visit for a flavorsome and enjoyable culinary experience.

This is a small spot in the heart of downtown St Augustine but it’s a gem. The food is excellent as well as the service. The line was out the door but moved very quickly. I order the Burrito Bowl and I should have bought two as it was kind of smaller than I thought but it was delicious.

A must if your visiting St Augustine.

Love the vibe here. Very SoCal. I had the green chili burrito and was able to customize it without dairy and LOVED it. The pork was so tasty with the perfect amount of spice.

I have never, NEVER been here when there wasn't a line to the door.

We got the chicken quesadilla and blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. Did was cooked to order right in front of us. Great customer service and food.

The staff were personable, helpful and accommodating! This location is very casual and doesn't have a bunch of seating but the food is excellent. My husband had the World Famous UFO and I had shrimp tacos. Both of our meals were delicious and the perfect quantity and quality. It is nice to have so many options for each selection on the menu. Also reasonably priced -- I would definitely recommend when visiting the historic district.

A classic beach taco and burrito restaurant. Burrito Works has a huge selection items to try with reasonable prices. We absolutely loved the casual beach atmosphere. Walk up and order and have a seat and wait for your order to be called. Definitely will be back. Steak burrito was amazing.

This is a (not so) hidden gem. Great prices, excellent food, and the customer service (especially Jenny) is always above and beyond. I recommend the UFO with either shrimp or green chili pork. If you like spice make sure to ask for some habanero sauce on the side. It's delicious. As a matter of fact, I may go get one right now.

The food here is outstanding. Very fresh and authentic. Shrimp Tacos are soooo good. The Shrimp Nachos are also very good. Probably best place in town. Nothing comes close and the prices are very fair. Try it, you will understand...

ONE VISIT- So know that.
I had a green chili burrito. HUGE, full of meat and tasty. It's way spicier than Green Chili (which BTW is pork, always) in N.M. or Arizona but like I said, no complaints. Basic counter service, sturdy stools and tables, stickers and graffiti on the walls.
Taste, value, choices- best eats in a hurry on St. George.

Great food and atmosphere. Food was fresh and ready fast. Highly recommend checking this place out if your in the mood for cool Mexican food.

ALWAYS can count on a delicious UFO and service when visiting Burrito Works Taco Shop on St. George street It’s always our first restaurant stop and our last, we grab a take out for the drive home. Today and yesterday, Jenny made us feel welcomed. She’s super friendly and works hard. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. If you’re ever walking by and wondering if you should stop in there to eat, do it!!

Great Mexican spot with a nice vibe. Always good food. We visit every time we travel to Florida and are always looking forward to a great meal. Burrito works is the place to be.

Fantastic tacos! Woke up a bit hungover and was craving tacos. Quick smooth service with generous toppings. I had a hard shell and a soft shell ground beef, both great. My friend had the cart tacos and those were really good as well. Will definitely pop in next time I'm in town!

Amazing food! The UFO is a must try! Recommend the UFO with pork and Baja style. Baja sauce has a small spiciness that really adds a lot of flavor! For even more spicy (hot), request habanero sauce on the side! Everything is made fresh to order and you really can't go wrong with any option here. We tried many different tacos and enjoyed most the pork and shredded beef. We found the shortest lines in the day before 7pm. Longest line was 9pm on a Friday. The staff works quickly to get your order completed. One of my best meals I've had! Get the UFO!! 👍
