Ken & Dale's Restaurant

Traveling through Alliance, NE hauling cattle and boy was I hungry. I parked at a local truck stop, but it was over a mile to the restaurant. Thank goodness they have Bird scooters in this town.

The atmosphere was awesome. The people and owners were awesome. The food was even better!! I'll be back for sure. I need to try everything on the menu!

I loved this place. I was traveling through town and just needed a place to eat. The service and food were great. I would eat here all the time if I lived close.

Our group was motor-biking towards the Black Hills, and we stopped for fuel. We asked for a local diner/restaurant, and Ken & Dale's was recommended.

We were promptly seated and served, and our overall service was enjoyable!

We each ordered a different hamburger, and they were each savory and not over cooked!

The broasted chicken is simply divine. God, himself, seems to have blessed this establishment. We fly here in a Cessna 182 from Denver, Colorado just to eat here. 6/5 stars if we could give it.

Stopped for breakfast on the way home. Austin was a great waiter, he kept things entertaining but was also efficient. Everyone left satisfied and had no complaints. Would definitely go back!

We were traveling thru Alliance at lunch time and the reviews looked good. We weren’t disappointed. Menu as basic but the food and service was good and reasonably priced.

They had a busy lunch crowd that included the locals so it’s an established place with a good reputation.

Just a great place. Lovely staff. Quick service. Great food. From out of town and we were treated so very well. So happy to have stopped for a meal and would certainly recommend this restaurant if you're passing through. I wish I had a place like this near me, I'd go at least once a week.

The service was impeccable - we arrived from out of town/another time zone - it was our lunch time but only 10:30 when we arrived - we asked if some of us might be able to order off the lunch menu while others ordered from breakfast menu and they accommodated us without any issues (even though they don't usually do any fried lunch foods before lunch starts and we didn't complain, they fired the fryers up about 15 minutes early for us and got us taken care of without any issue).

The entire staff just went above and beyond for us and our food & experience was fantastic (every single one of us had zero complaints about our food - all plates were cleaned - really great food). We hope to come back in the future and enjoy another meal with them!

We had the Corn Beef Hash Breakfast, the Mushroom Swiss Burger and the French Dip - all were excellent and we recommend all 3 highly.

This is the best place to eat in alliance. The food was good. We had a very tall blond waitress who was on top of everything.

Food is amazing, priced as a diner but with an upscale atmosphere, staff is always smiling and excited to serve. I come back near weekly for breakfast or lunch and will continue to do so!

We were passing through on our way to Denver, really enjoyed this restaurant. Loved the decor with the guitars, there were TVs but not too many and not very loud. Food was delicious and service quick and friendly.

The food at this place is awesome. Our waitress made great recommendations and kept up with all our questions and demands. The atmosphere is amazing, however, coming from out of town it was hard to look ahead at the restaurant because of the subpar website.

Stop here on the way to South Dakota. Boosted Chicken was Great. My husband and I plan to stop next week on way home!

Good food. Nice staff. Waited along time to pay only to find out i was to pay at the counter. That part was frustrating.

Every year we make the drive from Colorado to SD and we plan our drive around this place each time. Best breakfast! Staff is always friendly, the kitchen is fast and it's a clean place. Always a consistent experience for us each year!

Stopped here while driving cross country. The food was excellent, homestyle type food. I could tell there was care put into making the food. The open kitchen looked clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Glad I found this place.
