Camp Mohawk County Park

Wow. What a treasure, close to alvin. Free day use. Cabins and more for overnight rental. Great kids playground . Pond fishing ( My" fish deeper" portable fish finder told me not to waste my time. ) hiking trails. Ball field. Across the highway is a boat ramp / kayak launch in the chocolate Bayou.

Went there for the playground, but ended up walking the trail.
The park is close to the public at 7pm.

Great park in nearby Brazoria County with campsites for tents, dorms, cabins, fishing, and hiking spots!

As a family we have been to several State and County Parks. This is far the best park to camp or to spend the day in. The staff are awesome!!! They are very helpful, sweet and goes above and beyond to make you feel like home. I recommend this paradise 💯.

Love it there!! They are really fixing the place up. Stocked pond with a fishing pier. And the cabins are beautiful but don't take my word for it if you do then the cabins will all be rented out when I want them lol

Quiet environment. Clean space. Helpful, attentive camp host/staff. Will go back and highly recommend as a relaxing get away close to home.

know this park from 40 years back. it's always been a great park and is constantly being improved and well taken care of.

Best park in Alvin! Kids love the playgrounds and the trails are amazing! Its very clean and the park rangers are very nice and helpful. We love having parties here or just just bringing the kids to play.

Our first visit to the park today was to attend the archery class. All the staff are very nice. The instructor is a fantastic teacher. He explained everything very well. The class was safe and fun. We brought a picnic to eat in the shade after class. Free entry. Clean bathrooms.

I have been camping at Camping Mohawk three times and have witnessed changes made so all can have memorable experiences... My family and I have a huge Family Camping Christmas planned for December 2023....Jay and Ms Mary are awesome..They have made each experience warm and welcoming....the staff at Camp Mohawk are friendly and extremely helpful....Thank you all for the work you do.

Its a small but incredibly well kept wooded park with trails and camping. I always feel so isolated from people when I go trail running. Very beautiful place.

Beautiful, very clean an well kept park. Nice camp grounds,hiking trails. Enjoy taking the family here happy we live close by.

Got to fish at the pond and camp in a tent. There are also cabins available and fishing rod rental. Nice place free during the day with a playground.

We love this place, had our Easter celebration here.

So much space for kids to play. Had a Great time here. Walking trails were nice. Will go again.
