Kroger Pharmacy

I have used Kroger n Oakland, TN for YEARS! In Jan 2023, my Ins changed pharn’s & made us switch to Walgreens or Walmart, which was n our area. TOTALLY NOT SATISFIED WITH EITHER SERVICE
[“W OR W!”] WE Changed Insurance [TRUE] & went back to KROGER, OAKLAND.THEY TREAT ME PERFECTLY & I won’t go elsewhere! If you can't get along with them, it’s YOU, not them! Sorry, if the truth hurts!

The staff at Oakland Kroger pharmacy go above and beyond to help the customer as much as possible, all with an attitude of kind helpfulness and patience. They work very hard to coordinate with your insurance to get the most out of your benefits, and also to get the best price for your medications when meds aren't covered by insurance. I highly recommend them.

We have used them recently for many prescriptions. They have caught a doctor's error and have been very compassionate.

My husband and I are new to this area. We didn't have a Kroger's Pharmacy near us and since it is convenient as well as close to our home,thought we would try it. My experience was that the pharmacist will communicate with your doctor and then follow up with you if any errors are found. Definitely looking out for their customers so that is a good thing. I found the pharmacy technicians to be very helpful and friendly.

I have had very good service with everyone in the pharmacy department; until tonight. I have to get a B12 shot once a month. In the past there was never a problem. But the pharmacist said she wouldn’t do it because the pharmacy was closing in 30 minutes. She didn’t say I am sorry I can’t do it she just rudely said I am not going to do it. She wasn’t doing anything except texting on her phone at the counter. Typical black woman; if I had been black she would have been happy to do it.

I was just told “we are closed” at 5:56pm. I’m sorry but four minutes is four minutes. My mother needs her medication because she is being discharged from the hospital from a spinal surgery. And when I told her it’s not even 6 PM all she did was shrug. We will definitely be taking all of my mom’s prescriptions to Walgreens from now on. Unacceptable.when the sign says you close at 6pm it doesn’t mean you turn off all the computers at 5:50pm and go home at 6:00pm. You should be ready to give someone a prescription at 5:59 if need be.

I wish you had zero star. The worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Rude, disrespectful and incompetent!!!
