I had to wait a little while but very understandable because of situation before me but overall very happy with service and staff

By far, the best hospital in Vermilion Parish.

In and out very quickly, staff are very friendly.

I think the hospital is a good one. However, the fact that the lady at the front desk tells me to put on a mask while she is mask free is ludicrous. If anyone can explain to me how that makes ANY sense, i would be in awe. I have loads more to say on the matter, but doing my best to refrain.

DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO THIS PLACE. I was sent here (to their behavioral unit) after experiencing serotonin syndrome from an extremely high dose of Prozac (also from Ocshner). The head nurse Mr. Bob told me I was faking being in delusion and mania. He repeatedly told me I was going to stay in there longer if I “kept this up”. Instead of getting the care I needed, he called the local authorities who TOOK ME TO JAIL as a mentally incapacitated person after I tried to leave the facility. No one let me go outside for the total of 6 days I was there. The nurses did not try to explain to me what was going on and only pushed pills and sedation. The TV shows they played in the day room were violant and scary, which caused me and other patients to be afraid. It was like a jail.

Went in early this morning with high blood pressure, fever, chest congestion, mucus, throwing up, my whole body hurts, swollen glands and I completely lost my voice. I was tested for flu, strep and covid. All came out negative and I was sent home told to take Tylenol and if I was better tomorrow I could go back to work.By that time my primary Dr. was open and I went in. I DO in fact have the flu. I was given medicine to lower my blood pressure (not to have a stroke) a steroid shot and medication to help me get better. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone go to the Kaplan Hospital!

I called 911 after my boyfriend had a seizure, and the doctor didn't even give him any medicine for seizures!!! And I work for Lafayette General Health! Had to go all the way to Lafayette to get him treated properly! Even where I work in Crowley is better than Kaplan.

Went in after being sick a week left me in room 2 hours didn't even check on me so I walked out it's pathetic how you treated at this hospital animal shelters do better than that

If you pregnant don't waste your time going there they won't see you its the 21st century they need to get up to date I seen towns smaller than this that can deliver and see if everything is ok I wish I could give it 0 stars

Racist hospital if your a person of color don't waist your time they like seeing blacks suffer this has happened more than once nurses are most definitely racist
