Wanee Lake Golf & RV Park

We really enjoyed our stay at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Park! We had a super quiet experience there and really loved it!! The campground staff was really friendly to us and the food was great too! We didn't golf because we don't know how but we did walk between hole 4 and 9 during sunset to catch a nice glimpse of it on the lake! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Stayed there for a stop over on our way to Florida. When we pulled in to sign in our truck wouldn’t start to go to the camp site. The owner and his wife were so helpful even letting us borrow their work truck so we could use it to move out RV to the campsite. Nice lodge with pool tables, has a large outdoor pool and a golf course. They are located a few miles right off I75. We would definitely stop there again. Thx for your help!!!

Stopped by while traveling to Florida. Great RV park. Can walk up get a cart and play 9 on a regulation size course which is not in bad shape. Club house serves beer and food. Also a nice size pool. Large pull through sites that are flat. Totally recommend this rv-golf spot.

This was our best camping experience Ever!!! Check in was easy and the women that checked us in were very friendly and made us feel at home. Grounds are very clean and neat. Jim led us to our space and was the most friendliest and helpful fellow during our 4 days here. He is such a valuable asset to your team!!! All of your staff makes a wonderful team. Ron, GM, was available and offered a hand with anything that would arise. We were here to meet friends and play in the Toys For Tots Golf Tournament which was amazingly organized by all of your staff and lunch was FANTASTIC. Our stay at this RV park was a 15 out of 10 ranking!! We are definitely coming back!!! Thank you again for wonderful stay!!!

What a great place to stay. Ronnie and his staff are great and very accommodating. The RV sites are large and have plenty of space between them. The amenities are a plus as well, you have a golf course, pool, and a lake to go fishing. Highly recommend this campground if you are ever in Ashburn Georgia.

We stayed one night in our travels with our rv at Waunee Lake Golf and RV. Such a friendly welcome from the couple working there.They made sure our train (5th wheel camper and motorcycle trailer) would fit in the 2 sites they had in mind for us worked out, before we ventured to site with challenges for us.. Very nice RV facility and we plan on coming back and staying a bit longer to enjoy it..Thank you for being part of Passport America, we never would of knew about this gem if you weren't 🙂

Nice quiet place to stop at and if you like golf they have a course you can play on. Full hookups, pull through sites. 👍

We had a great month long experience. Donna, Christina and Ronny were super hosts. Donna made us feel like extended family. The golf was great and not too busy on weekdays. The facilities include a pool, laundry room, bathrooms and shower, lounge with a restaurant.

This was our first time at this park but really liked it. Firstly it would be very hard to find friendlier or more accommodating managers at a RV Park,
The golf course is a fun but challenging course for a hacker like myself and is what you would expect for a nine hole rural course. Maintenance of the course is pretty good.

The RV sites are of typical size and being improved. There are full timers and as in many RV parks with full timers some of those may need cleaning up, but over all even those are better then many parks we stayed in and we been RV’ers

The pool is very big for a park this size and very well maintained with plenty of lounging and seating.

The laundry room is currently very small but machines worked well and were clean and open 24/7.

They were getting prepared to opening a new small kitchen while we were there and from appearance very new and clean.

Overall we were very impressed with the park now and with the plans for future improvements.

Would we stay again or recommend this park to friends? ABSOLUTELY, in fact we have already scheduled for this fall and next spring.

We absolutely LOVE this place. Been coming here for 10 years! The new owners are absolutely awesome! The improvement' s are ongoing! We stop on the way south and again on our way home! Many improvement on the golf course, club house, RV park. It's our diamond in the rough! We had 3 Birthday's in April. Ms Donna went and bought them a cake...how sweet is that?

Nice course and friendly staff. Excellent food at the Cafe. Tell Christina Thomas sent ya for some amazing food! I've also met a lot of good golf buddies there. Friendly all around. Thanks for accepting me as a regular 🙂 My home course ⛳🏌‍♂

Stopped in for a night on our way home heading North. Great value at $40 with Good Sam, super friendly staff, recently completely redone office/grill, newly paved roads, good grass site and full hook up. Not a golfer but 9 hole course that looked good. For under $1000/month you can get a site, unlimited golf and a cart full time. It is very rural in a very small town (5000 population). Not a vacation destination but awesome for what it is. Highly recommend for an overnight. 5 miles from I75.

The owners were very nice and the park was great! I’m an avid golfer, so having the first hole right next to my rig was awesome. It was a great stopover and I definitely recommend the stay here. The course was really fun too.

Amazing people true southern hospitality. Was having a bad day trip was going awful passed by and turned around. Pulled up and set up on site within 15 minutes! Pond has a few bass I would recommend catch and release so others can enjoy it too! Golf course looked great but I'm not a golfer. Free pool table at front office so you can play with your buds! Everybody was nice and very munched enjoyed my stay! Pet friendly clean up your mess!!!! Wonderful place to be calm and quiet! The lady's respect and niceness was the best part!

Wanee Lake was our first stop after Hurricane Micheal. We stayed for almost 3 months. In that time the owners Tim & Jim, and park managers Donna & Ronnie, took us in like family and made sure we had everything we needed. The park and golf course are beautiful, the pool is very nice, the laundry machines have their issues, but if you let management know, they'll make it right. The lake is gorgeous and we spent many sunsets at the lake enjoying the view and peace. The regular golfing crowd are friendly, and we will certainly miss this place! I wish we could pack you all up and take you with us to Tennessee!!

Nice little campground. Staff very polite and down to earth. Well maintained golf course. Quiet safe setting with a beautiful country feel.

The People there are awesome, very friendly and very helpful. Medium size camp ground with a very nice pool. Beautiful 9 hole golf course that has aged over many years. I had one of the most pleasant experience in any camp ground and we travel a lot. I recommend this camping experience for anyone that likes people. Warning" Its hard to leave.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful RV park for two months. We have a 50 amp rig that’s 40 ft long. Mrs. Donna is an absolute sweetheart and will help you with what ever you need. The staff will definitely treat you like family. The WiFi is great as well as their rates! They have a very clean pool and laundry room. Highly recommended this RV park/ golf course.

We were looking for a place to go camping that would be nearby a golf course. Wanee Lake was only a few hours drive from our house and since we have been isolating since February, camping and golf are low risk activities we decided to give it a try. We stayed three nights and played 18 holes 2 days in a row. The rates are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the golf couse is very nice with some suprising challenges! They also have a pool and tennis courts if you need to take a break from golf.

The campground has 30 spots, plenty of room and very quiet. We will definitely visit here again. Very nice.
