Raindancer Restaurant

First time here. This place is an amazing steak and seafood joint. Everyone had a great time. The food is amazing, servings are huge and everything was fresh. The homemade pie at the end was awesome and took 4 people to help finish! Highly recommend going here.

What a wonderful experience.The wait staff was friendly and attentive, bathrooms are very clean, relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The food is fantastic! The prime rib is a 10! I asked for medium and it was done to perfection.
The Coney Island hamburger was delicious as well, and done to perfection. Both of our meals were "October Specials" and very reasonably priced.
Raindancer is definitely a must for restaurant affectionatos!

Today we stopped in Amsterdam, NY (because we thought the name was cool lol) and we found this absolute gem! This place is amazing. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. Becky helped us out today and she is the best! The food is incredible! And the portions are hefty. Take it from us... we've never lead you astray.

Went for lunch. Nice size menu. Very good food with a big menu and pretty good service. We were sat in a place of little traffic. We didn't see our waitress very often. Sat for 5 minutes before anyone even came over to the table. Other than that no problems.

Made a reservation as it was my first time here. Greeted and seated from friendly staff. Eddie our server was prompt and on point. I wanted for nothing and took care of whatever I needed. Food was great and the look and feel of the place was pretty good... I'll be back!!

Have been to Raindancer many times, most recently enjoy their service and food for the Holiday. Food was fantastic, server was fast efficient and attentive. The whole family was very pleased, and their portions are so large we had left over for the next day. The moment we left the restaurant, the kids asked if we can make Raindancer our annual family tradition for Thanksgiving.

One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Especially we had Chris bringing the food, he made our night. The food was super delicious and the service was 5 stars and the vibe was amazing 👍👍👌👌👌

I reserved a table for two for my wife and I because her birthday is coming up and it was amazing!!! I had heard a lot about this place and couldn’t wait to try they’re Prime Rib and Lobster Tail and it was beyond my expectations!!! Our waitress was awesome and they all came over and sang Happy Birthday to her before we left. Worth every penny! Our bill was a little over $200 but I think we had a couple drinks too lmfao! I believe if you don’t treat yourselves once in a while it’s all for nothing then! Oh and I ate all that! Lmmfao!!!

Late lunch to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Mushrooms have cream cheese as part of the filling. Good, different. Prime ribs were perfect. Salad had raw broccoli which was a total plus for me with thick tasty ranch dressing. Nice beer selection too.

Great food, huge menu, wonderful service, and relaxing atmosphere.

Always the best prime rib anywhere. No longer has a salad bar, but the salads are good. Extensive draft beer selection. Didn't use it, but a take-out window is available.

I really don't think a review is necessary for the Raindancer. Its reputation is great food, cozy atmosphere and good service. I experienced nothing that would change that. Handicapped accessible and a large free parking lot.

Raindancer was an excellent experience. A friend had told me if I was ever in the area it was a must to stop in there for a prime rib. I did just that and what an excellent dinner. Everything was top notch. Would highly recommend.

Rain dancer, Amsterdam cross the street from the Ram dealership on route 30 North. If you want a good sized stick or some prime rib go to rain dancer, it's in Amsterdam. It's very good.
The bar is very nice atmosphere. There's all sorts of stuffon the ceiling bicycles. 2 cooking things to ski's it's just, it's open all year round. They have very good parking, they have handicap, it's handicap, accedouble. Check it out, we did.

This was the 2nd or 3rd tike eating here. First, the waitress was amazing. Funny, kind, and attentive. The filet was pretty awesome. My only gripe is that (and it's most eateries these days) our drink bill for 2 drinks a piece for my wife, and I was a little more than 1/3 of the total bill. I'm pretty sure we bought the bottle with our purchases alone. It's not a deal breaker, but it will just limit how frequently we go here.

Place was packed. Had reservations and seated quickly. Waitress was apologetic for slowness of drinks and dinner. Not enough staff. Food was excellent.

The best dinner as usual! Tried RD Ultimate Nachos tonight and it was delicious. Be careful if you're having an appetizer, salad, or a soup. It's mountainous!

Finally had the prime rib! It was mouth watering and filling! The best service as always!

This seems to be the "happening" place on a Friday. We stopped here after searching for a restaurant as we're from out of the area.
Food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good Food. I've been told that their beef is locally sourced. Friendly waitstaff. Service was excellent.

Had an early dinner for four adults and the entire experience was great. We had appetizers, soup, entrees and dessert and everything was done to perfection, while being catered upon by a super and caring waitress. We had the tomahawk steak, seafood casserole and fish filet with onion soup and calamari.. topped off with strawberry shortcake, triple chocolate cake, hot fudge sundae and cheesecake... All were absolutely delicious. The pricing is competitive for an eatery of this caliber and well worth it.
