After a tiny bit of a rough start getting our drinks and menus for ordering, DH and I had a fun experience here. Service was great and so was the food. We visited around 4 on a Saturday and it was not very busy at all. I had the country fried steak and DH had pork schnitzel. We both had mashed potatos and gravy, sides were cucumber salad and sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert, which I think they may be known for. The list of desserts sure looked good. We aren't this way often but would certainly stop again. A fun, friendly traditional type diner.

Restaurant has a Mayberry theme. It was a fun place to go for a meal. The food was good and hot. Kelsie, our server, was super sweet.

Well worth the drive. The food great and they have so many choices. Theme restaurants can be way overdone but the Mayberry Cafe, is tasteful and cute. Give this place a try even make it a day trip.

Went to the Mayberry Cafe on a nice afternoon. We got there around 2pm. It wasn't crazy busy, we got seated right away. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. They certainly give you your money's worth. We had the Manhattan and the fish and chips. We had pumpkin bread pudding for dessert, again delicious! Will be back again.

The food quality blew us away, from the homemade loaded potato soup, to the southwestern wrap to the breaded tenderloin sandwich. All were just excellent! Even our server (Paige) was good. This place was a very pleasant surprise and I expect we'll return.

This was worth the almost hour drive from Indy! We started with the Wisconsin cheese curds and then both had the fried chicken, mine was boneless and both were so good. Hubby had the blackberry cobbler and he thought it was very tasty

Our first time to this restaurant was on Saturday, 10/08 at 1 pm. The place was busy so we had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated. We were surprised when our friendly server told us that they don't serve breakfast. We chose the onion rings as an appetizer (Amazing) she got the Ruben (She said it was great) I got the catfish sandwich with sweet potato fries (Outstanding) and we split the apple pie supreme (Fantastic) We didn't finish half of our tasty entrees to leave room for this great dessert. This place greatly exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely be making the 30 minute drive to Danville, IN again. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Can't say enough good things about our first experience at the Mayberry Cafe. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was awesome and relaxing, just like the Andy Griffith show portrayed Mayberry to be! They even have Cinnamon Honey Butter for sale. It was better than Texas Roadhouse's butter. Of course we went home with a jar. We'll be coming back for another date!

This place was fun, grew up watching The Andy Griffith Show so it was pretty cool to see an old rerun episode on their TVs. The food was tasty, had bluegill with mashed potato and green beans. The house special Huckleberry Lemonade was super refreshing, and an appetizer of Aunt Bee's Fried Pickles with spicy ranch dipping sauce was perfect. The waitress and hostess were friendly, service was good.

We enjoyed our lunch here. The food was very good and the servings were fairly large. It took a little bit to get our food, but they were busy and we didn’t mind. You can always watch Andy Griffith on one of the tv’s! We did splurge on a dessert, very good!

One of the best breaded tenderloins I've eaten.
They was out of onion rings but the fries were good. Drove from Greenwood to Danville because we've heard about this place and wanted to try it.
My husband got the cod fish and chips it wasn't bad but we've had better.
Neat little diner very clean and our waitress was over the top friendly. Oh and very cute and clean restrooms.

We had a nice, quiet dinner and Brittni took great care of us. I had the large bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and it was really LARGE! Large enough to share. I also had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which were good. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. The sweet tea was exceptional.

When I got there the computer system had gone down and but they still had great service and were still able to get out our food pretty quickly. Servers were on the ball about anything we needed. I was able to sit in their second-floor dining room and was able to see all the going ons on the square. Would recommend to anyone passing through.

Cool decor and good food. Served fast by polite waitresses. You are able to watch the Andy Griffith Show from any table. Two floors, great street view from second floor windows. Cool memorabilia on the walls and great souvenirs. Some great photo ops, especially with the Squad car out front. Quaint town and restaurant is on the square. There is a Mayberry Days once a year. This is a can't miss fun experience!

We always have a good time at the Mayberry Cafe. Step back in time and enjoy good homemade comfort food.. while watching the Andy Griffith show, on one of the many televisions in the restaurant.

I had the Monterey chicken.. with green beans and mac and cheese.

My mother highly recommends the boneless pork chops with maple bacon glaze.

We have been going here for thirty years and I have never been disappointed.

This was our first time here and it was awesome! We got the fried biscuits and apple butter for our appetizer and they were delicious! I ordered the catfish, fries, and green beans. My boyfriend ordered the Reuben sandwich and fries. Oh he also ordered a bowl of chili. Great atmosphere and friendly service. We'll definitely be back.
