Max a Mia Ristorante

I came here during lunch. Had their meatballs with angel hair. Amazing. I'm very particular when it comes to Italian fare, and MAX a Mia nailed it. The foccacia bread is slightly too salty but really really good. Chop salad, perfect. Definitely coming again.

Husband loved his food daughter love her pizza I didn’t like the soup at all. Our waitress took a while to get to us. We had to waited for a long time before we get some her attention.

We came the night before Valentine’s Day, and it was such a lovely experience! Thank you for making my partner, and I’s Valentine’s Day special. 💜 The tiramisu was to DIE FOR. I loved the half chicken. And a very special thank you to the chef for sending out this little snack because we drove in the snow!

Such a wonderful restaurant. This is a must-try place. Both the food and service exceed expectations. We felt transported back to Italy. You could tell the menu was crafted with love.

Unbelievably good. This place is the top of my list of restaurants.
On this date I requested a rare-ish double thick bone-in pork chop and got it as requested. Phenomenal, that’s it, couldn’t be any better. It’s my #1 restaurant destination in the Avon, Simsbury, Canton Ct area.

From the moment you’re greeted you’re treated professionally and warmly.
The service staff is right on, the food was something special, perfectly cooked and plated, down to earth but with some flare.

Everything about this place was terrific. I contacted Bob the chef ahead of time asking if they had vegan options. Not only was he very accommodating he made sure the server was able to help us understand what choices we had. Sunny, our server was very knowledgeable and patient with us. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place.

My favorite pasta dish! I always try to recreate it at home but never compares to getting it in a cast iron pan here! Love having a dedicated GF menu and dessert option!

Went for friend's birthday dinner. We had a reservation. Service was quick, professional and pleasant. Food was also excellent and would recommend the full spectrum, from pizza to the veal porterhouse.

I'm surprised we haven't been here before, given that we've lived in the area for 6 years. We arrived on a Monday evening without a reservation and they seated us right away. I had the spicy margarita, which had a nice kick to it. The food was pretty good too, I had the clam linguini. The service was by far the standout. The guy who served us legitimately seemed to love his job!

We enjoy coming to Max a Mia about once a month. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are always very good. This week our server asked me how my Surf and Turf was, and I casually mentioned that I thought it was good but a bit salty. Amazingly, the hostess quickly came to our table to apologize for this minor issue and insisted on providing a new serving for us to take home. Truly outstanding customer care!

We have been to Max a Mia's multi times and enjoyed it. The bread is delicious with the garlic, add some oil, and parm. Yum! Our meals we enjoyed!

I wanted to take a moment to thank the staff. I called to arrange a birthday surprise for a family member and they very courteously accommodated my request. It made my family member’s birthday an exceptional experience at a place they have been enjoying for 30+ years!

Went here for my birthday and the food was delicious! It was crowded and loud at peak but quieted down. The portions were good, drinks were yummy and dessert was shareable.

Max a Mia was the restaurant we celebrated our first anniversary back in 2002. We went back 20 years later and had the same fabulous experience. I made an online reservation and on a whim mentioned we were celebrating a special anniversary. We were great not only by a thank you and congratulations, but the chef also made a special bite for us.
We came back recently for another special occasion and had a repeat experience. I can't say enough about how great the service food atmosphere is at Max a Mia. Thank you to the entire staff

Had dinner last night, and ordered the Butternut Squash Ravioli. By far this was the best dish I have ever had there. The coconut cake is a must too!

Great food. Great staff and fun atmosphere. Waitress was attentive. Can't ask for anything more.

Very good Italian restaurant in Avon. It was very busy when we arrived here, but the parking was not an issue. They have fairly big parking lot the the back!!

Let’s start with beer! Craft beer selection is limited. Typical bottled beers are available.

We ordered Calamari, fried Mushrooms and mussels for appetizers. They were accompanied by fresh made stone over bread, fried garlic and side of tomato sauce.

For main course we got eggplant lasagna and couple of pies in honor of the pie day! All food was amazing, portions were fairly big and service was great!

Will definitely visit here again!
