Hubb's On Main

UPDATE: I really had high hopes for this place, so I knew I wanted to give it another try, and I'm glad I did! Sat at the bar and had a few beers and pizza. This time I ordered The Goat, which is, oven roasted brussels, bacon, goat cheese, mozzarella, and honey drizzle. Wow was it delicious and cooked perfectly! Shout out to the chef, not sure of her name. Our server Lindsay was great! Very sweet and attentive. The next day I had to go back and show my bestie that they definitely got better and he enjoyed it as well. We ordered the Return of Mac which is, seasoned hamburger, mozzarella, onion, pickles, lettuce, with house made secret sauce. I've never had a pizza like this before and it was delicious! Really glad I gave this restaurant another try because it was worth it! Love the music and vibes as well!

1st review- I've ordered take out from here a couple times. Both times ordered the specialty pizza - Rangoon to the moon. Both times the flavor was there - it's definitely a unique pizza. But was soggy. I did not want to do a review based on delivery so I decided to take my friends here.

We ordered the 66 Diablo wings. The flavor was good but the wings were soggy. I personally like crispy wings with a moist center.

We also ordered the Rangoon to the moon. I was excited to have my friends try it but sadly they didn't enjoy it. I agreed that it had way to many wontons on it and the crust was a bit overcooked.
My friend ordered a salad with chicken for his meal and the salad came out with no chicken.  Not only did the server forget, so did the cook. So he just said forget it.

The service was not great.  If the servers put as much effort into the costumers as they did their cell phones. The service may actually good.  I had high hopes for the place since it's nearby but sadly It didn't turn out well. I may try one more time in the future.

This restaurant is a MUST. Delicious food, great prices, awesome happy hour menu. The owners of the restaurant are very nice and make sure you love the food. Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great dinner! 10/10 recommend!!

This is our second time getting food from here. This time we just got wings to go. OMG, so good! BIG wings, tons of flavor and love the char on them. We will definitely be back. Everyone is always so kind and welcoming too!!

Tonight was our first time here. Asked our waitress for suggestions on drinks and food and she did not disappoint. We sampled a few different drinks including a mango margarita and mimosas. Every single drink was made perfectly and the shrimp scampi pizza was delicious. Will be back to sample the rest of their pizzas and wings soon.

Hubbs on Main should be on everyone’s map for gluten free options and good food in general. Awesome wings. The owner and staff are so nice and welcoming.

Came to this place months ago and I forgot to write a review which they deserve. I love to bar and restaurant hopping around the nearby towns. This one is in my town Ansonia. Great pizza, great friendly staff, their drinks are very good! Good place to go with your family and friends and have drinks and pizza. Good for afternoon date 😍 for those pizza lovers. The interior design is nice, love it. Overall great place!! Go check it out!

Pizza was delicious. Wood fired pizza that’s not burned is hard to find. I had the backyard bird pie; flavor combination, crust was all on point. Delicious. And I’ve heard the owners are amazing guys to work for. Really good people who care about both employees & customers in their establishments. Support your local businesses! 👏🏻❤

Nice bar and atmosphere, but works good as a take out pizza place as well.

The pizza is very good. It reminded me of Brooklyn, thin crust and good sauce and cheese. It's a little bigger than a personal size, I'd say medium small 6 slice. But the price is reasonable and I could see ordering 2 or 3 for a meal at home in relation to other options in the area.

I know the valley gets a bad reputation, but this place is worth the drive and a visit. The beer menu (draft/bottles/cans) was really good, and the pizza choices were pretty solid as well. It's nice to be able to get really good quality food without having to go into New Haven!

One of my favorite places to go here in town! Super cute atmosphere and I have been lucky enough to get our favorite server every time!! Dakota is amazing! Ask for her and I promise you won’t be disappointed! Service really makes or breaks a place for me. I don’t care how good the food is if the service is bad so she is a real pleasure to dine with!!

What a place what an atmosphere. Staff was incredible Owner John was very attentive to clients both at tables and the bar. Wings were delicious and wife and I had chicken bacon ranch pizza!!!😃😃. A great addition to downtown Ansonia. Good luck for many years of success to The Hub!!!

The Hub is a fun local pizza joint with excellent wood fire pizza and even better woodfire wings! It' fun place to hang out, have a beer and some amazing food. Menu is simple, but it's meant to be. Totally recommend stopping in and enjoying the place.

Okay let me share our experience. We went to celebrate my wife's (27th LOL) birthday with some close family and friends. The Service was OUTSTANDING from start to finish due to the efforts of Trish and Joaquin (Thank you both). We ordered enough food to feed an army (we killed it all) and everything was as good the Service. The House drinks were amazing and Trish even offered to make past seasonal specialties. I would HIGHLY recommend supporting The Hub any chance to get. Once again a Big Thank You to Trish and Joaquin!!

The pizza and wings are great. Specialty drinks are awesome. Nice quiet place to meet friends and catch up. Friendly people and fun opportunity to play old Atari games on a big screen.

Justes and Lindsey are 2 of the warmest most welcoming people I have the pleasure to meet in my vast experience dealing with every bar in the valley...great drinks ...fabulous food

Absofreakinglutly love this place. Happy hour, best deals hands down. The wings, delish, real meat, real flavor, real heat, real good. Great drink menu, awesome staff. Go there, eat up, it's great. I give it 10 thumbs!

Food is awesome, drinks are delicious! I had the g.o.a.t pizza and it was phenomenal along with a salad and mid day cocktail. It was a great experience and i will probably be back
