This place is a little hidden gem! We come here often! Very adorable restaurant settled in the hills of Western PA in a small town right off of the Ohio River. THIS is authentic and unique Mexican food so if you only care for "chain" type Mexican places that do everything the same then you probably won't like it here. The salsa is different from anything I've ever had but it is so delicious! And don't sleep on their homemade tortilla chips. DELICIOUS! My husband and I always get the Queso Fundido. It is phenomenal. The margaritas are amazing (we normally have a few). They have a limited menu right now but I promise you it's worth it. If you have a bad experience here then you must have caught them on a bad day and I would try again. It's a small operation so be patient. We have to keep little local places like this alive!

The atmosphere of the place was very chill. Our server was friendly. The food was fantastic! I had a shrimp burrito and it was wonderful. There did seem to only be two people working so sometimes we'd have to wait a little bit for service, but overall it was very good Mexican food.

Great service, fresh ingredients and amazing recipes! The owners are so sweet. Every time I have a shrimp taco, it leaves me wanting more! The chips are the best I’ve ever had… Same with the guac.

A party of 6 of us ate at Azul on Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge TN last week. We each ordered something different. All of our meals were DELICIOUS. Our service was nothing less than spectacular. Our servers were Karla and Logan each of them were absolutely GREAT. The restaurant including the restrooms were absolutely spotless. The restaurant atmosphere, design, furnishings and decorations were very pleasant and inviting. On behalf of my group any one of us highly recommend you try Azul.

OMG. The enchiladas were sooo good. I always order enchiladas as my test meal at any Mexican restaurant. They knocked it out of the park. Our waitress was also super friendly and accommodating with a special request. The only miss of the entire visit was the rice.

Celebrated my father's 89th birthday here and it was such a wonderful evening. We enjoyed the margaritas and everyone loved the food. Steak fajitas were perfect. Salsa and guacamole were fresh and lots of garlic. Seafood options were also a big hit. We had shrimp, tuna and the cod. They were great about substitutions and handling our big group on a Saturday night. Luke our server was stellar. The service just can't be beat and the prices are very reasonable. And this restaurant is dog friendly. Highly recommend! Thank you AZUL!!

I had a fabulous dinner at Azul, as we usually do. Though I ordered soup and salad (and a margarita!), I can tell you that the steak burritos are always delicious, too. Luke was our server…he’s consistently good. And the owner is a great host and an asset to the community. Don’t hesitate to try Azul when you have a Mexican craving!

Guys, it’s time you go here - as in actually eat at the establishment. Super cute atmosphere! Guac, queso will have you drooling. I’m a picky shrimp taco eater and I’d have to give them #2 if not #1 status in Pittsburgh (thank you for not frying the shrimp 🙏🏼).

Azul is an amazing spot! Perfect date night location. Wonderful food and extensive drink list. Super friendly staff and really cool atmosphere. Highly recommend !

The parking was fairly tight, but that aside I had an excellent experience here. Guacamole made at the table is always nice, and the salsa wasn't overly spiced. Had chicken enchiladas that I would travel to eat again 10/10. Prices are about what you would expect from a hidden gem like this, and the menu isn't overly burdened with filler extras.

So far, this is the best "elevated" Mexican fare that I've had in the 'Burgh! By elevated, I mean ingredients beyond pork, chicken, beef, steak, and veggies and not a hole in the wall or a truck.

Don't get me wrong, I love me an awesome hole in the wall Mexican place; The kind you go into and aren't 100% sure you understand what the ingredients are in that enchilada, but you know it will be awesome no matter what! Or that cool taco truck you chase all around town, trying to figure out their hours...

Well, this place is not that! It's a just a great restaurant with a great atmosphere and, when I've gone, great service!

Try the chile rellenos - Best Ever!!! Their steak nachos are also to die for, with big chunks of steak and pickled jalapenos and carrots. The pinto beans are made with pork fat, and they are delicious! And, I really love their sangria... maybe too much. It's in the middle of nowhere, so keep that in mind when you order your second glass. Of course, there are worse places to be stuck than a restaurant that serves Awesome pork belly tacos!!!

WOW!! What a place! What an experience! I’ve been to my fair share of Mexican restaurants, being three-eighths Mexican myself, and let me tell you, this place is fantastic. The building is unassuming from the outside (as every good, non-chain restaurant seems to be). Upon entering, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere with chic and modern Mexican decor. The food is authentic and perfect (I got the steak tacos) and my house margarita was a pleasure to sip. Service was good for being a full house on a Friday night. All in all a wonderful place - dare I say my favorite Pittsburgh area restaurant?
