Great Company! I need alot of service for my vehicles. Rock Solid is there name and rock solid is how I would describe the company. The owner is a great communicator, professional, and delivers exactly what he promises. I've been more than happy each time I've used Rock Solid! I highly recommend this company!

Corey and Randel are very professional and have lots of knowledge on later and new models of vehicles. I have been coming here for the past two years and have always been satisfied with any car I brought here. Always on time and always polite and honest. I would recommend anyone that is new to the area or been here for years with a trusted mechanic to switch and come get serviced. Tell them Alec sent you!!

We were visiting Arcata and our drive belts and pulleys went out. Rock Solid was able to diagnose and repair, they made space for us and did the work quickly, efficiently and for a reasonable price. We were very happy (and lucky) with their work and that they were able to squeeze us into their day. Thanks again!

I have a 99 Saturn and I was recommended this shop by 4 different friends last year when my starter, alternator, and battery all went at the same time. They replaced all of the items in a timely manner and charged me the same price as other shops quoted me. I was pleased with their friendly and fast service so I've returned for a couple oil changes and will continue to bring my car to them for future issues.

Highly recommend this business! They are polite at the front and honest in the back! I am so grateful to have found this shop in Humboldt! Prices are super reasonable!

Great shop, friendly and very helpfull. I have been taking my automobiles there for about 2 years now, from oil changes to reaplacing my water pump.

I can compare them to Nissan dealer. Their price is same. (going rate). However Rock Solid can actually work with you on scheduling faster and better. Ive had my truck in that shop 3 times and will absolutely be a return customer. They don't have the corporate policy and can actually get more done in a time frame that isn't so strict. I appreciate the pertinence and expertise to laser-beam problems fast and efficient. Yes its expensive but worth every penny for me as a busy professional.

Took my truck in to get my transmission replaced. I posted on social media asking for recommendations and he said he was available immediately. I was desperate given I am a single mom, and even went against my friends who advised not to do business with Cory. My truck was in the shop far longer than promised, and Cory charged me over $2k for a used transmission. His reason was that he had to make sure everything worked before the job was considered done. Once I finally got my truck back, the speedometer and odometer didn’t even work, and the engine turns over anytime I try to start it. He told me to just follow the speed of other cars driving instead of fixing it (mind you I have a child and not knowing the mileage on the car to change the oil risks the engine blowing out.) He said the parts are covered by a 30 day warranty but also says he’s going to charge me for the repairs, and that the issues were most likely pre-existing when they definitely were not. I have yet to take it back and at this point have no choice but to sell my truck as a mechanics special since I won’t be able to afford the unnecessary repairs. I did not feel respected and felt taken advantage of. I will not be taking my business to Cory again.

Worst fab shop around. they have tried to sell me many useless things. Cory sits around all day smoking pot and tends to be extremely rude unless you are spending money right at that moment. Pricey also. i know other automotive biusinesses that wont deal with this shop because of Cory's temper. That is why he has so many finished jobs still sitting there rusting away.

Went in to get my oil pans gasket seals fixed and within 3 months of them “fixing it” they were leaking AGAIN. So I took it back once more (even though they charge an insane amount) and once again 2 months later THEY ARE LEAKING.

Was quoted a price and timeline to get a engine swap done, ended up being almost twice as much as the original quote and took an extra week. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VECHICLE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!! They need to stick to oil changes and checking tire pressure! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
