Great selection of sports equipment and athletic wear. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions or help you find something. It's conveniently located in the shopping center at Cortez and 14th, behind the Rooms to Go store parcel of land.

We went in today just looking for kayaks, not really to buy one today. Found two kayaks that were really nice for a great price. Problem was that the models on the floor weren't exactly what we were looking for, so they checked the back and found two in a nice blue/gray color. The staff was extremely nice and worked quickly to find the two in backroom and help load them in the truck. Will definitely return again!

Anthony in the fishing department was awesome. He has a lot of knowledge and very friendly. Highly recommended person to seek out.

My wife and I were very pleased with our experience in the golf department. After checking prices for new grips I found that this was the best deal available. Since I purchased 10 grips they were installed free. Even though Earl was extremely busy with customers and phone calls we waited and were given expert service on sizing and grip choosing. I have already recommended Dick's to several friends. I will definitely go back when I need additional services, and I hope Earl is there.

Nice selection of running shoes which was what I went in to get. I actually got a decent pair of Brooks well under $100. I even ran a lap around the shoe section in them to see how they felt. Yes there's a track. After browsing a bit I found some bike gloves that I'm thinking of using for my workout as well. Very minimal selection of bikes. Overall nice place where I had never visited.

I came in to pick up an online order on August 1, 2018 and had the pleasure of working with Steven. He went above and beyond to help me in my unique situation. Steven was kind, courteous, and professional. I have no doubt this particular stores success comes from the hard work and customer service skills of its staff. With Steven being a prime example of just that. Thank you Steven for restoring my faith in chain stores. I will be back!

We came here to buy knee pads for my daughter. She needed them for next day, we got here at 9:15pm and they close at 9:30. The ladies in the front were very accommodating, they did not try to rush us and were able to walk us over to where the pads were. That’s service! And cashier was very helpful as well! We enjoyed our 15 minutes here! Will be back , hopefully the one in Sarasota will open soon 🙂

It was quite good people were nice and very helpful one of the salespersons even helped me save money which I love yes I would definitely go back it was clean pricing was great and they even match pricing which I did I got a metal detector and it was cheaper someplace else and they match the price

I'm new to Florida and sad to be so far away from my beloved REI. I went into Dicks to see if they could fill the void in my life. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection and the prices were comparable. They seem to have a pretty good rewards program as well. Of the employees I interacted with, all were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Ron helped us with a new treadmill and some beach equipment. He was very knowledgeable, not pushy and personable to talk with.

I already have some coupons emailed to me that are burning a hole in my pocket. I think Dicks will do!

Simply they are the new sports authority. That being said, their selection is way better, they have tons of variety whereas sports authority was very limited. If you are the type that wants to be able to put hands on an item before purchasing it and want that wide variety of items to choose from, this is your place. I like to fish and was amazed at the quantity of items they had to choose from. You could spend years going through their lures and possibly save a lot of money on some pretty decent rods for around $50. I also checked out their hunting section, could not believe how much stuff they cram into a store, my kids spent an hour looking through things without getting bored

We came here to pick up a couple of bicycles. It took a bit longer than expected, but only because they made sure to triple check every part of the bikes to make sure they were in perfect condition. Great employees.

Nice store, very well stocked. There was help with my needs. Great store, I think they are over priced on most of their items.

When we walked in looking for walking poles, the greeter said maybe over there if we have them. But after we found them and were debating which was best, a very helpful employee helped us decide on which to get, and was knowledgeable about the best uses for the different types. Very helpful!

Pick up a reel from there and had Brian spool it up for me. Once he was done and was about to leave I notice I pick up the real for the wrong side I got a left hand instand of a right handed one. I picked up the right handed reel and walked backed to Brian and told him what happened. We both laughed about it and he spooled up the other reel for me. He is a great guy and very friendly. Definitely coming back and making sure Brian is there.

Jim in the outdoor (fishing/hunting) section was VERY knowledgeable and very helpful. He made my trip there very convenient and good. Can't thank him enough.

Had excellent help choosing sunglasses for my 14 year old. I also bought an L screen for baseball. Opened the box and there was a crack in one of the poles. I brought it back the next day - and exchanged with no hassle.

Went with my grandson who needed a wooden bat. Neither to say we ended up with 3 bats one expensive and 2 cheapies. Hope he doesn't break them soon. Had some coupons which helped the cost down.

Sales Associate Kenny was fantastic! He had me doing some work in the booth as I tried different brands of clubs, he also gave me a couple of tips to help straighten out my swing.

Dennis in the golf department is extremely helpful and patient. Great guy no agenda and doesn't work for commission. Tells it to you as it is. Dennis if you read this thanks for being a good guy and thanks for your input.

Nice variety even though they didn't have what I wanted. DeShawn assisted me and made a recommendation. So I purchased that pair of sneakers which I absolutely love!
