I really miss shopping here but I moved away almost a decade ago.

Best hardware store there is. Big selection of just about everything. The gun department is top notch with actual gun people who know their guns. On top of that they do repairs and installations on most firearms. I love to visit with the people there and I always have a great time. I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite stores in the Alamogordo Area.

This is my go to for basic home improvement and they have a pretty good selection of firearms and ammunition as well. Super friendly people with reasonable prices and selections.

I have been shopping at ACE regularly for the past 6 months with no complaints. My last visit really stands out though and prompted me to leave this review:

I came in with a simple little project involving PVC piping and fittings. Like many 'do it yourselfers', I had more of an idea then a solid plan of what I needed to get it done. I was the customer that needed some help finding items and some advice on what fittings would work best. The young lady that assisted me was very friendly and seemed eager to make sure I got the right products. When she saw that my hands were getting full, she promptly brought me a cart (How many places bring YOU the cart you forgot to get?). After spending a good thirty minutes giving me advice and helping me decide on the right parts for my little project, I noticed at checkout that I was the last customer and they were unlocking the exit door to let me out. Not only had this young lady been incredibly patient and helpful, she did so all the while I was keeping her late at work!

Thank you ACE for another great customer experience! I recommend this place to anyone shopping for hardware or fire arms. (They also have other things including appliances and automotive services as well)

Great old school type hardware store. And I have the utmost respect for them to respect Americans rights and not enforcing mask mandate. They have a great sense of humor and they love my dog and gave her a treat.

Besides the normal hardware they have a terrific gun counter with super helpful staff and knowledgeable gunsmith, ammo, and outdoor gear. Highly recommend you stop in for a visit.
