Darien Lakes State Park

The state park campground is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Jayne, Marsha, and Patty along with park manager Chad were amazing. The older female groundskeeper was such a sweetheart and went above and beyond her job duties to make sure we felt safe, welcome, and taken care of. I can't wait to visit again when the season starts back up in May. Too bad the camping season ended on October 10. I could've stayed all year if it were possible. 10/10. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I’ve never visited here but passed it frequently on the way to Darien lake amusement park. This is a great hiking area. However I would recommend to avoiding paying for parking go up the road past the entrance. You’ll see a entrance to walk right in (and parking, but small). I think it was quiet beautiful and quiet.

Camped there twice this summer. I enjoyed both trips! Staff is really friendly and helpful. Very clean. Great place to explore and make great memories!

Only 50 mins drive from Niagara city. Beautiful campground with plenty of spaces and hot shower option.

Another local gem for hiking, fishing, kayaking, picnics, and more. They have pretty cool disc golf course as well
Yet another place my family and I have explored a lot with our dog since the pandemic hit. (You can see she loves it here too!)
Be aware some trails are not clearly marked or can get confusing, get a map from the ranger station, at the trail entrances if available, or download one online.

It’s always nice to come over here and spend a few days camping, when you go to the amusement park or concerts. The ladies that work here are so nice and helpful. The camp ground is always clean and taken care of. They fire pits are fun to do fires with. It’s always a nice time. I never had a problem here.

We camped there this past weekend, the campground is nice and well taken care of. Parking spots are gravel and most of them are fairly level.

Very clean and friendly staff. Able to dump holding tanks for $7 if not camping there. Big ++++

Always a beautiful camping experience. During the week it's very quiet. Weekends have more campers so there is more social atmosphere but can be louder at night.

Nice little park. Most definitely get a group of friends and family to go there again. Very short drive to stores if you forgot something and a 5 to 7 min drive to Darien Lake theme park for the day with the family or a concert that night.

Great place to hike or camp. Nice sand beach too.

This campground is a great alternative when going to concerts at Darien Lake. Sites are spacious but there is no water or sewer hook up, so make sure to fill your fresh water tank. There is no pool but there is a large pond with sandy Beach.

Love camping here!! Site A20 is my favorite, and I will be getting it every year for our church camping trip!

Close to the theme park, good water pressure, nice open fields and playgrounds. Nice campgrounds!

We got the camp site we had no power, the ranger was walking by before we got the car unloaded, I told him that the power did not work and within 10 minutes we was back with the parts and power was on. Thank you for the fast fix. The park is beautiful.

Angry apple orchard discgolf course is great here!! The beach looks cool and lots of walking trails throughout.

We camped this past weekend and the site we picked was not to their standards for the size of our camper so they gave us a bigger site and checked on us to make sure it was ok. The park Ranger was a great guy as were all the staff in the office. Would reccomend.

Wow Darien lake, nice picnic with nice water to swim. Nice place for a party in summer.
