Decent place to stop. Plenty of parking room and easy access to the interstate. Nice people, while I did not get anything to eat, I did look around they have a wonderful menu, and it looks great a real sit-down fresh cooking that smelled excellent 👌.
They have souvenirs and toys for the kids, pretty much something for everyone. Good experience 😸

We love coming here when in Illinois. Today the homefries were not cook to tender. The egg had water running out of it. All cooks have rough days. YES I WILL KEEP COMING HERE. The place is very clean the hostess was very pleasant and she worked for their tips. I didn't see one person leave unhappy. I really like how the parking lot has the truckers upfront parking and not in the rear like all other truck stops.

AS A TRUCK DRIVER THIS IS MY GO TO PLACE. ITS AS CLOSE TO HOME EATING AS YOU CAN GET. ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET. AFFORDABLE AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT

I absolutely love their breakfast buffet. I really like that they have individually cooked eggs rather than only scrambled eggs. Their lunch buffer is also pretty good . Their wait staff us friendly and efficient. This is one of the few places where I've never been out of either water or coffee. I haven't had a lot of their a la carte dishes, but everything I've had has been pretty good and reasonably priced. The only issue is their booths being worn out, but it's not a big deal in my eyes.

FAR OUT!! Place is about 110 miles from our home. We stop there anytime we're in the area. Breakfast buffet is teriffic!!

I decided to stop in here last night and glad that I did. I had the Friday night seafood buffet, and it was great. I stayed for breakfast this morning, and it was equally enjoyable. With fast food establishments becoming most common at truckstops, it was nice to still have a traditional restaurant option. Great food and friendly faces after a long day on the road still mean a lot to some of us old truckers out here. Although she was not my waitress on either occasion, Caitlyns (sp?) beautiful smile and positive energy can't go unnoticed or without mention. Quite possibly the most amazing server that I have encountered in my 24 years of crossing this country. Witnessing how she handled such a busy restaurant with apparent ease was a sight to behold. She has the passion and work ethic that you don't see much anymore, and that just enhanced an already great experience at the Dixie. I will be back and definitely would recommend all truckers and travelers to give this establishment an opportunity to make those miles a little more enjoyable.

Thanksgiving buffet was Fabulous. The Moistest Turkey I've Ever Had!!!
If you haven't been here for awhile you Definitely need to give them a go again. The place is under new management & it shows....& Tastes!!!

Very good restaurant. Buffet was hot, fresh, and full of selections. Service was amazing. Great place to stop if your a truck driver like myself. Highly recommend and will return.

Gloria is a GEM! Very beautiful, kind and very professional! She is a phenomenal waitress especially considering this is a truck atop as well! Great food, great prices, great quality and quantity as well! Burgers are fresh not frozen, a buffet and salad bar. Very clean and neat environment! She made the experience exceptional with her plesant voice and a genuine smile! This is very hard to find anywhere these days! If you come here to eat and have her as your waitress guys take care of her. You know it’s extremely rare out here to get that kind of service! Shes a asset to us out here! A great place and great service! Great job Gloria! Your AWESOME! Update….Truckers and travelers we need to bless this girl to help her go to college. Very nice people, unbeatable prices and fantastic tasting food.

Wanted 2 grill 🧀 sandwiches on a rainy day, but they wanted $10 for them. Ordered the taco special for $7. Makes no sense on food costs. More 🧀was used in the tacos and ingredients. The food was delicious. The server was kind and friendly. Coffee was fresh.

It was a great experience. The food was perfect, and it was nice to be able to stop at a truck stop and have a normal dinner. Natalie was our server, and she was awesom. Never let drinks get low, and she has a pleasant personality and smiled the whole time.

The food was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and even though they were busy, they stayed on top of clearing the tables and making sure we were well taken care of!

One of the best Beef veggie soups I've ever had! Such a nice old style cafe truck stop with amazing buffet, friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere.

Seemed like the last few years since Covid,this place would either be closed by 6pm or not have a buffet.This time,they were open until 9pm and had a great buffet.Excellent homemade soup and a great selection of food. I make an annual trip through here and it is a place not to miss.Reasonable price,great service,and awesome food.

Great place to stop. You touch the older style cafe back in the day. Real food. Order by menu or buffet even restaurant style pizza made to order. Take it to go. Quite no mischief running around to worry about. Huge parking don't worry about paid parking. Clean shower bathroom amazing staff.

A nice place to stop by to get breakfast lunch or dinner right off the highway. Large parking lot for Semis. Restaurant offers both menu items and buffet. Got the meatloaf, mash potato and the Mac and Cheese from the buffet, definately hit the spot

Prices and value are great off the menu and the buffet is definitely good and worth it if you're hungry or just like the variety.
