Holy cow, was this place phenomenal! Hubs and I shared two appetizers, scallops, and queso fundido with mushrooms. Hands down, these were the absolute best scallops I have ever encountered! We asked for a recommendation from Miguel, our waiter, and he under sold these! After I told him how much I loved them, he said he was from Vera Cruz, and this was an authentic dish. The scallops tasted fresh. They were hot, in a mild tomato sauce with onions, garlic, and cilantro accompanied with garlic toast points. I can not say enough about this dish, so mouth watering! The queso Fundido was cooked in a cast iron skillet, crusty, and cooked to perfection on the bottom. The cheese was topped with mushrooms and guacamole. I'm so happy we stopped here! The chips and salsa were great also, served Christmas, red, and green, on the medium-spicier side. What an amazing experience!

Small but busy and I understand why. The food was excellent! Truly impressed and the staff were great too. I thought it'd be more fast food like and while it is it's very high quality.

Stanley served with a smile. Awesome drinks. Loved the traditional Cuban coffees and smoothies. Lots of vegetarian options too.

I recently dined at Mi Apa Latin Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and fresh food. While the taste wasn't quite 100% on point, it came close, especially considering the remarkably fast service. The attention to customer needs was excellent, adding to the overall positive experience.

This place is a breath of fresh air. I was traveling south towards Miami from Jacksonville and I needed to eat a real meal. This place is right out of a Latinos kitchen. Absolutely delicious with great prices and a ton of options to choose from. This place was clean and service was terrific. I cannot wait to eat here again.

I definitely think this place should expand! We were on our way back to Sarasota from vacationing in Savannah and saw a billboard for Cuban food! We drove across three lanes to try Mi Apa and it was definitely worth it! There were four of us and everything we ate including the appetizers were AMAZING! You cannot go wrong with this place if you get a chance stop in and give them a try!

Stopped here on the way to Florida because we were looking for something authentic. This place definitely hit the spot and everything was delicious. The Cubano and Guava and Cheese pastry were fantastic. Would definitely recommend stopping in to give these folks a try if you like authentic Cuban food.

My family stopped in for lunch on the way to Orlando and was blown away at how good the food was at this restaurant.

We started off with the Shredded-Beef Empanada. I had the Cubano sandwich, and we also ordered a Cuban Hamburger and Cuban Steak with Chicken Soup and Yuca.

We all sampled off of each others plates, and we all were very impressed. My wife had a Cuban Coffee, which she loved because it reminded her of Vietnamese Coffee.

We plan on stopping there again on the return trip to Houston.

Cafe bonbon is really nice and unlike many other coffee places, you can sit inside; it's not just drive through

Mi Apá is always amazing! I tried a new dish the last time I went and it will forever be my favorite! I don't remember the name but it was the stewed beef tips with white rice and black beans and of course sweet plantains on the side!

You cannot regret stopping here, whether you’re familiar with Cuban food or not! I got everything I love because I was so excited, and it was so good. There are so many vegetarian options too. A ton of local people were here, staff speaks English and Spanish, and they’re so friendly!! It’s great for takeout or dine-in, and it was really nice for a quick stop during a drive. LOVED my Cafe Bombon, Guayaba juice, and vegetarian platter with black beans and plantains.

My loved it so much that he’s asking to go eat at Mi Apa again. I ordered a cubana sandwich but he wanted to trade with me for my cut steak, black beans, egg, and white rice. He normally doesn’t try new things to eat but he definitely loved the food and this is his first time having Latin food. Especially the ham croquettes.

What a find! We stopped by this place after passing a billboard on I-75 and it did not disappoint.
The food is amazing! As a Cuban living in Miami for 30 years I can attest to this place having great Cuban food.
We tried a bunch of things because we were starving and everything looked great.
Empanada - ground beef - amazing!
Empanada - ropa vieja - I've never heard of this type and it was phenomenal!
Ham croqueta - ummm, maybe the best I've ever had!
Media noche sandwich - super delicious!
Frita Cubana - the patty is what this sandwich is all about and theirs is some of the best I've ever had!
This place is a definite win and the selection is huge!
