I have been hearing about this restaurant from several people, so tonight I got to try it out. We were seated right away. It was pretty clean, and they were a little busy, but I didn't mind. Started with a hurricane and picked the grilled crawfish pasta salad with ranch dressing. SO GOOD!!!! My husband got the combination platter, which came with fried shrimp, fried oysters, and onion rings and came with a side salad. Didn't get an appetizer because we didn't want to fill up on that and not be able to eat our main meal. Our waitress, Anna, was SO nice and very attentive to our needs. Prices were really decent. People definitely need to try this place out if anyone travels to Ruston. Also, the ceiling had a unique decor going on.

Really great food! My hubby ordered the gumbo and raved about it! Super delicious food! I enjoyed my pasta salad with grilled chicken! Service was so good! Even took to go orders home for others….. Will def come back!

Saw an ad at the Ruston Sports Complex, so decided to give it a try for lunch before today's games. Food was delicious and service was great! Definitely get the cheese fries!!!

Being from South Louisiana, where the seafood is brought to us very fresh, we joke that we don't eat any "Cajun" food North of I-10. I must say that we were VERY impressed with Pontchatoulas. The food was amazing! The seafood was NOT imported (loved this). Our waitress Lauren was very helpful and friendly. Definitely 10 out of 10 recommend.

GREAT food & AMAZING customer service. My go to is the catfish lunch special, fresh, filling, & a great price. The fried green tomatoes are awesome as well. Special thanks to staff that found my wallet after I left & made sure I got it back.

My friend and I had a great dining experience here today. Food was delicious, generous portions and the service was stellar. We found the restaurant on Google since we are traveling through LA. I'm so glad we stopped and highly recommend. You won't be disappointed 😌

Boo fries might look a bit egh but they are delicious 🤤 pasta chicken salad was good. And my husband his was delicious. Not sure what it was.

Drinks were good. Tried the Catfish platter, it was great. Had enough food to get full and take some home for later

Loved the food at this place. We got the appetizer simpler with onion rings,cheese sticks, meat pies, and fried mushrooms. I got the catfish stuffed with crawfish etouffee. My daughters got the catfish poboy and the hamburger. They loved both of them. We will certainly be back.

This place was fantastic! The Peacemaker po boy is the bomb!

Went with the family for lunch. We had a great time visiting. It was a little tight for space but I might feel that way because I sat next to a beam. Great food and great service. We'll definitely be back.

I got the sampler on both visits here (it was so good I had to go twice). The first time I got crab cakes and crawfish estoufee, and the second time I got crawfish and red beans and rice. The service was pretty good, a little chaotic and slow, but I believe we got there at the same time as a softball team, stuff happens. Overall delicious local Cajun cuisine. Definitely worth the stop, 10 of 10, I'll eat here again.

Outstanding experience! Food was wonderful (I had gumbo with stuffed catfish, wife had the catfish platter and fried pickles as an app). Server was great, but they looked a little short handed. We will definitely be back :)

We've been there before and liked it then too. Good service, Shiner Bock on tap, Crawfish Etufe' , Crawfish Shirley both excellent.

The food is always great. The wait staff is always friendly. When I have friends visit from out of state, this is where we go.
