Wow! What an amazing experience! We went through four amazing haunted houses. There were dozens of actors in great Halloween costumes roaming the park. The whole place had fog machines, turning it into an interactive park.

The park was packed, but the lines moved quickly. The staff were, as always, absolutely top notch. The park was incredibly manicured and clean.

You guys have really outdone yourself. This place beats out Disney hands down!

We had an amazing time at scarywood! We very much appreciated their Heroes Weekend, and though it was quite chilly, we loved the rides and haunted houses! Such a lovely way to celebrate Spooky Season!

We go to Silverwood every year and have always wanted to go to Scarywood, and this year we finally did. We didn’t really know what to expect. It was amazing and so much fun!!! We went through all the haunted house attractions and went through one multiple times and they were a blast. They were so different from what I excepted!! My favorite one was Blood Bayou. They all had very fun twists and were full of very exciting surprises. It was so fun walking around being jump scared and having all these people follow you around. This was one of our favorite visits and we will definitely come back. It was amazing to see all the hours of hard work put together. The decorations, scare factors and costumes were spectacular. The fog machines were so cool and everything was so foggy and in some places you couldn’t see 2 feet in front of you, it definitely added a lot of suspense. It was so fun to see the difference between our regular visits to Silverwood and see it completely transformed for Halloween. Thank you so much!!!

Great people, great attractions! Heat lamps in the lines would be amazing for 22 degree weather.

Everything was amazing. Got there early which I recommend, went on the last Saturday, the very last day. But I still had a blast and the characters were Scary, the attractions were awesome and the rides are that much scarier in the dark

First time going and my girlfriend and I had a blast. I realize everybody will have a different experience depending on many factors like wait time, weather, crowd size, your experience with the attractions and actors. Nonetheless it went well for us even with the rain which honestly added to the experience and we’d definitely come back. Thanks to everyone for their hard work.

Who doesn't love to be spooked by zombies, ghouls, clowns, and other creatures of the night? All this, and there are roller coasters!

Be sure to visit the haunts, as they are a frightfully fun way to get your shivers and scares. But even walking through the park is bound to get you some scares.

Please, don't be one of the parents that thought their five year old was brave enough, otherwise you'll end up standing under one of the few lighted areas cradling and consoling your freshly scarred-for-life child. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SCARY. THAT'S THE POINT.

Otherwise, what a delightfully devilish way to spend an evening. We'll be back!

So worth it! Lines were relatively fast and the attractions were fun! Our experience in the zombie one was unfortunately ruined though by some teenage girls who were under the influence running backwards from the group in front of us.

Loved the walkthroughs- The Blood Bayou was amazing! The actors were all really good at blending in and, even if you did see them, (or if they were meant to be seen,) playing their posts really well and surprising you anyway. Overall, really impressive and fun. Some of the attractions had pretty long lines, though, such as the clown one and the backwards, wooden roller coaster, which was so long that we decided not to go on it when we were half way through the line, so as to have time for the other walkthroughs. This is to be expected at any amusement park, however, and the quality of the walkthroughs mostly made up for the occasional long line.
The scare actors were great, and no matter how hard you looked, you would always miss at least one, or at least not realize that they had a hidden trick up their sleeve to surprise you with.

Just got back from it as a school trip and I really enjoyed it! I think my favorite part is hearing people scream crazily as you go through each attraction that is put together. Found that experience quite humorous.

Had a super fun day today at scarywood! Got some photos with the actors there. Lines are pretty long, but it's so worth it. Its really dark which makes it even better for the hallowseason. Actors are everywhere to jump your heart out of you. Rides are so fun, the haunted house was terrifying but overall fun. If you want to go on a group field trip for Halloween season, definitely come this way!

This was so much fun. Only downfall is it didn’t open until 7pm. Four hours isn’t Enough time to wait in lines and ride all the rides and see all the scares.

I'm gonna give you pros and cons of 2022.

Pros
1. The scares zone are always the best
2. The new attraction is great!
3. No long lines on a Saturday shocking!!!!
4. I feel like they put more effort in this year then last.

Cons:

1. The price to get in is expensive! PARKING went up 10.00! ( Hopefully they change it back to 5.00 during normal season)
2. No train
3. Lack of cast members.
4. Food prices are also expensive.
5. No tickets at the gate.
6. I feel like they rush people into the haunt attractions so less scare for you.

Our kids from Michigan came up just to come to Scarywood. It was a bummer that we were only able to do 3 scares and 1 coaster. I haven't figured out why it costs so much to go on Saturdays. Longer waits, and the same time frame as Fridays.
Makes no sense to me.. We still had fun regardless.. Nothing like standing in line to enjoy some family time.. 😆 The scare staff did an awesome job. Same creepy dude got me 3 different times 😱. Lol Also its important to add that the ticket staff was amazing. We encountered an error with a ticket purchased through a 3rd party person and the staff helped us quickly get that resolved..

We originally were only going to go for one night but it was our first time there & it was already dark outside because the park doesn't open until 7 pm during this time of year so we decided to buy tickets to go for one more night. If you are planning a trip to go here make sure you plan for plenty of time to get the whole experience! There are long lines for the rides but they are worth the wait. There is also no available food places besides candy shoppes open inside the park so eat dinner before you go. Dress warm & bring a flashlight to make your experience here more enjoyable. Also, they do not accept or handle cash inside the park so bring another form of payment!

I came to the park last night close to 8 o clock in the evening. Over all, it was a fun experience. I kind of do wish they would have brought back the train as well as Ancient Ruins . I noticed a few other changes but it's not that big of a deal . Normally when my family and I had gone to Scarywood, there was usually nine different attractions as far as I remember. There were at leave five this year and I had done at least three. It's also sad that not many rides were open. I noticed that in a couple of the attractions like Planet Zombie , they did tone it down a tad bit on the gore which is fine. I thought the actors did great though. I would really like to see other scare zones like Apollo again. I hope that Scarywood will up its game next year. If I had to give this experience a rating out of 10, I'll give an 8.5 . The next one I hope to give it a higher score . But , really the service was good and everyone was fairly friendly. Good job to all the staff last night. 👏

My wife and I had the best time! We aren't too into the haunts but we loved riding rides in the dark and watching the actors scare people. I also recommend getting there early enough for the new hellbillys show as it is hilarious.
