Quality Inn Calera I-65 exit 231

This was Place #3 that night because Inn #1 & #2 had little creatures crawling around in them. They were not welcome!
Made it to Quality Inn about 3am and was pleasantly surprised to find EXCEPTIONAL cleanliness on our room. Would have loved to stay another night but it was booked. Rightfully so. Great hotel. Clean room. No critters. Comfortable bed.
Did I mention NO BUGS?! (that is high on our list!!!!)

I was hesitant to stay because of the three star rating, but everything was booked due to a fishing tournament. What a huge surprise! The front desk staff and owner were friendly and attentive. The room was clean and well stocked with supplies ( cups, coffee, towels, soap, etc). The room has vinyl wood plank flooring which was very clean (especially appreciated by us traveling with our dog). Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items that fit the needs of everyone in our family. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here at last minute because of weather with my dog and my cat. The room was very clean, the breakfast was exceptional biscuits gravy and poached eggs among other things, awesome hot water, and the price was reasonable. I look behind curtains and Undercovers anytime I stay in a hotel and the curtains were exceptionally clean I was impressed I've stayed in more expensive hotels with the backside of curtains being stained and dirty. the bed was pretty firm I don't sleep under the covers in a hotel so I took my own the pillows were a little worn meaning a little flat but I had seven pillows to pick from so it worked out good. We'll definitely stay here again if if the need arises.

Great location and prices the front desk staff (Amanda especially) was above and beyond what was expected if all staff was as helpful and professional as Amanda it would be the perfect stay. Great employee keep her at all cost

After a long day off driving (15 hours) this was a pleasant stay. Big bed and nicely appointed room. Nothing fancy, just right. Great hot breakfast in the morning!

I've stayed here at least 8 nights now and haven't had any negative issues!!
Even during Covid, they made sure that all precautions were in place while making sure we had a good breakfast to go!!
Right now it's back to regular breakfast.

The rooms are clean & comfortable and the staff has always been very nice!!

Hotel staff was friendly. Great location and the room was exceptionally clean. Room has vinyl plank flooring. Great with the dog. Bed was comfortable and air was cold. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

This is a simple hotel with comfortable beds. I have stayed here several times and will continue doing so. They are a little out of date, but the price and comfort is worth it.

It is all outside rooms. Conveniently located near I-65. There are fast food restaurants such as Sonic, Chick Filet, and Zaxbys not even a half mile away. There is a Mexican restaurant and Cracker Barrel as well. My room was a queen bed. It was right on the front, so it was easily accessible. It was clean, smelled nice, and the air and heat worked well. They have a full hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, or bacon. Also cereals and various breads. The only downside, no fresh fruit. It was quiet. The front desk person was nice and efficient. I would stay here again.

Very nice place, friendly staff, great breakfast, extremely comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay and would make a return visit and reccomend to others. Also, pet friendly. I didn't have my dog with me but would bring her on return trip.

Overall it was a good experience. There is a large mini fridge in the rooms which is nice. The rooms are a little dated but nothing to complain about. The people staying there are a little rough maybe not the best place for a family however it was quiet during my stay and I did not have any trouble. Would recomend for lower prices than the other hotel in Calera.

Very nice hotel... Just a bit dated as far as decor goes. Super clean, plenty of towels and toiletries. Was a bit noisy but that's only due to guests arriving late in evening who weren't very considerate. Pet friendly which is mandatory for me. Would definitely return.

Our lights were out due to hurricane Zeta's damage in Calera. It was full to capacity with the exception of a vacancy. It was clean and furnished with Micowave, a fridge so cold and the freezer froze a gallon of water. But I would go back for the shower. It was the best I've had in a hotel.

Manager/owner was awesome and very friendly. Got there b4 check in and they were very accommodating. Cleaned our rooms and let us have them early. Would stay there again.

The rooms are clean and the staff are always friendly. The breakfast bar is awesome! Highly recommend this hotel. This is my second time to stay here this year and I will be back.

Even though this hotel is a tad dated, it is one of my favorites in the area. Great water pressure, great hot water, decent Internet and above all... They have ceiling fans in the room! Considering I'm a hot sleeper, it's definately a big plus in my eyes.
