Visited TN for work and was so happy to find this gem close to where I was staying. The staff and owner were so nice, and I loved their extensive vegan menu! Adorable book themed names really took the cake :)

I ordered the Hannah Arendt and can't say enough good things about it. I loved the food, the adjoining book store, and the overall atmosphere. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be back.

Delightful bookshop, with a huge amount of books from any genre or decade! The prices are also quite reasonable, and everyone who works there are very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, and there is a small cafe with good food where you can sit and read your new books.

This shop is a must visit every time I’m in Tennessee. I’ve never left spending less than $80 and carting out a box full of books. Well organized, the used books are in excellent condition, the shop is clean, and the staff is amazing. Seriously, the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and I personally feel safe and welcomed by their support of the LGBTQ community, and I’m always proud to support any business that stands against censorship and book bans.

I hope to be shopping here for many years to come.

Precious book store with an amazing cafe. All staff I have encountered on my visits have been super friendly and helpful. Definitely give their sandwiches a try. The pickles are showstoppers as well as their dessert case.

Was passing through the area on the way to the airport and found this charming place and has to stop in. So glad I did. Excellent selection of used and new books, a cafe, a "dead media" shop, it's just the kind of place I would gladly spend a day and probably more than a little money. Cool vibes indeed. If I'm ever back in Maryville, this will be on the list of places to stop by.

A fun place to get lost for the day.

Serious book collectors, this store is for you! Beautiful selection of classic literature including leather bound options.

LP/vinyls are cash only so be prepared! Worth a look!

I love books and this store is a regular stop in Maryville. They have a huge, reasonably priced collection which includes Southern authors, local interest, a good poetry section, and all other genres. A great cafe is also a part of the store and is a regular stop for the locals. This is a friendly business where you are welcomed at the door.

A truly special gem of Maryville with amazing food/coffee and an incredible collection of books. The cashier was super sweet and very helpful. I ordered a BLT, and all of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The homemade rosemary garlic bread was divine, and I'll definitely be coming back to buy loaves of it for my own meals. The bookstore has such a cozy, old-timey feel to it that I love with a huge variety of books. From beautiful leather-bound classics to horror, young adult novels, westerns, philosophy, history, DIY, and more, it has everything you can think of. They also have an extensive collection of vinyl records in the back. I didn't realize that there was even more stuff in the downstairs section, but I will definitely be exploring it next time I visit. 10/10 would recommend!

One spoonful of the tomato basil soup I knew I found my spot. How have I been here almost two years and never knew about this place! I got the chicken
sandwich with pimento cheese Farnsworth I believe is the name. I will be back

UPDATE: some prices are better and they have Destroyer books. Can’t be all bad. OLD REVIEW 3 years ago: Lots of books but I feel prices are a little too high.

Very good book store! As a graduate student studying military history they have a massive selection to pick from. A bit unorganized. But what book store isn’t. Books generally run 1/4th to half price of the original cost, which is decent. They also have a small cafe too but I didn’t go in there. Maybe next time!

This place is fantastic. Very old school bookstore where you can wander aisles and just find the most random of things. The cafe had some very tasty options. Very large vegan menu as well. Staff was helpful and considerate. New favorite.

Wonderful, cozy, comfy, calming bookstore. Large selection, something for everyone. Friendly staff, but they also leave you alone to browse. There are chairs amongst the book aisles that you could sit in & read. There’s a cafe with a little dining area, also worth a visit. I had the Oppenheimer sandwich, it was fresh & delicious!
