The selection in the store is amazing. You can get almost anything you need. Clothes, shoes, sports equipment, ride on toys for children, Stanley cups galore.

If you need shoes, Taylor Davis is the best. She’s very attentive and sweet, and willing to help with a smile on her face. She makes sure the shoe department is clean, and organized.

They have some amazing sales too, and often times you can fine a clearance rack. They also have a clearance section for shoes.

Academy Sports is awesome! They've got everything for sports and outdoors. The staff is super helpful and knows their stuff. From cool athletic gear to all sorts of equipment, it's like a playground for sports lovers. The store layout is easy to navigate, and the prices won't break the bank. Whether you're a pro or just trying something new, Academy Sports is the spot to gear up for all your adventures. Totally recommend giving it a shot!

This is a great place to find all sorts of sports equipment and gear for camping, hunting and fishing! The prices here seem better than other sporting goods stores that I have been to. When they are having a clearance sale, things are super cheap! I like how they also have their own brand, which is usually a lot less than the name brand item.

The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about their store and products. There are plenty of clothes in stock and several racks of 1/2 off clearance items.

It was great. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for, but neither did any other sports store in the area. The staff was polite, and the building was clean.

The people at academy sports are amazing. I've never had a problem with a single purchase there. Their stores are always clean and stocked, too.

You can get some great deals here. Basically if you can't find it at sportsman's warehouse they'll have it at academy and vice versa

Best outdoor store I’ve ever been in , Guns galore, ammo, kayaking, hunting, clothing , grills they had it all ! the only place in the area they sold stun guns in store so I was very grateful. Would most certainly go again

This was my first time there it was nice the price was great they was short on staff but I enjoy shopping there planning on going back

Great new Academy Sports off Wendover in a great shopping center with restaurants and retail stores. They have an amazing selection of ⚽⚾🥎🏀🏐🏈🏉🎾🏒 sports equipment, bikes, shoes, athletic apparel, sportswear, hunting and fishing, and firearms. They do have ♿ handicap accessible parking, restrooms, aisles, and more. The staff are friendly and the prices are very hard to beat in this area. All the brands you know and love from Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, and more.

Returned an item I had purchased at the Hickory, NC store with no issues. Young lady who assisted me was very courteous and efficient. Store was organized and clean. Nice brands and decent prices, too!
