In the middle of the Atchafalaya basin corridor. This park is well worth the natural experience.
Full hookups, good At&t signal and 25 ish channels off a powered antenna.
Stayed here twice and plan on staying here again.

Great place! Looks more like a state park. Beautiful trees, so you may not get satellite reception. Spacious gravel sites. We used it as an overnight travel stop, but a longer stay would be very pleasant. We have a 40' ft DP which fit, with our towed car, very well on site 89 without unhooking the car. If you go into site 89 keep to the extreme right side (outside dual on the grass) and you will be level. Use caution coming out for the culvert as you turn left on the paved road. It's tight but just turn wide and you're OK. Propane available.
The people are great! The small store and office are very nice.
We will be back.

We were impressed how big the sites were. Great space. We registered for site 40, but when we arrived we realized it didn’t have much shade, we asked to use another, and during the week they weren’t packed so they gave us site 43. Beautiful trees, Fabulous shade! The camp host were very friendly and welcoming. Pats Fisherman’s Wharf was an excellent restaurant 20 minutes away, and if you sit outside for lunch there’s a gator named George swimming outside hoping for bread, we had fun with that. (for lunch not after dark the Louisiana skeeters will carry you away).. Beautiful site, would stay again!

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend and had the best time! They hosted a Thanksgiving dinner and on Saturday night there was a band. All the workers are super helpful and friendly (shout out to Norma and Kenny), the sites are spacious from each other and very convenient off of I-10.
We loved that the park isn’t full of permanent residents junking up the place. We look forward to staying here again!

Once again it's an RV site Campground people coming and going it was fairly quiet definitely not as bad as the one we're in now and they did take care to make sure they picked up the trash for you and handled anything you needed unlike KOA I'm going to have to stop going to koa's they suck but this one was not a KOA and they took good care of you I would recommend going there

Immaculately clean and beautiful RV park with your choice of sites under large trees for shade. 70000 gallon swimming pool which is kept crystal clear. Camp hosts were friendly and welcoming. Located right off of I 10 with easy access to highway yet very quiet location. Highly recommend!!

Hidden gem. Traveling country by car - pulled in needing a safe clean campsite and a shower. Exceeded all expectations. Owners are kind, inviting, and speak with genuine Louisiana accents..

The park offers live music, Cajun cooking, festivals, and so much more.

I'm going back - when I have time to stay longer..

I was so appreciative of this place. The lady who was working in the front knew I was having an awful week, and she gave me a hug. She talked with me, and made me feel comfortable and safe, which is what I currently needed-The Southern hospitality I didn’t receive the past week in Convent.

They have a beautiful pool area, a good size playground, and the RV space is a great amount, not to mention their general store is racked with so many spices that I’m really wanting to head back in there and grab some amazing items to try and do some grilling on their fire pits!

If you’re looking for a great destination to enjoy the Deep South’s exotic and absolutely delicious food, you’re very close to the Chicken Bayou which has an amazing selection of Louisiana’s beautiful cuisine.

Above all, this seems like a place that will be placed in my Google Save.

We have always loved camping here, the black pot cookoff was so much fun and we ended the night with Horace Trahan!

Great place for a stopover or a longer stay. Quiet, large sites, pretty surroundings. We stayed one night and arrived after dark. Lovely man met us and directed us to our site and helped us get situated. Definitely will return again!

Very nice park, friendly staff, clean and well maintained. Lots off trees so your RV is not baking in the sun. I’ll be back

This location was a great place to hang out for a couple of days. It was very busy on Saturday night with lots of fun group parties going on. Many campers left on Sunday morning and by Monday we had the place to ourselves. Sites are good sized and many have a nice amount of space between them. Some are small (we have a 40' rig). Our original site was too small, but the staff was helpful in finding us another site. Great place for kids. They have two playgrounds with lots of equipment for the kids to get their energy out.

There is a new owner that is putting money into the place and it shows.

We will be back again!

We just spent one night here... check-in, hook up, check-out the next morning. We had no issues, though we didn't try any activities nor any of the facilities.

We did ask them about working with us to extend our stay due to an oncoming hurricane in Florida. We didn't need to extend, but they were very helpful and willing to work with us if the need arised.

Stayed here for 1 night. It was the perfect stop over. Not far off of 10. Quiet park with fairly leavel gravel sites. Sites are not right on top of each other.looks like it would be a hopping place on the weekends during the summer but it was pretty empty during our Monday stay. Nice camp store. Stacey was very personable and helpful. Highly recommend. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

We stayed there a month while visiting family in Lafayette. The grounds are well maintained, shady sites, owners are very friendly and provided us with knowledge of the area ( food, fishing, etc.)
The only drawback and they are working to expand.. was the WiFi(weak signal)
But VERY well maintained and a lot of space between sites... easy access from I-10. Very comfortable and relaxed setting among nature.
Nice pool and a well stocked store on site.
They had live music on Saturday nights during our stay!
Thank you Stacey and staff!!

I consider our group to be regulars here. Relaxed environment with not so many strict rules that you find elsewhere. BYOB to the bands on Saturdays are great. Gas or electric golf carts allowed. Some of the sites could use some work but it's always improving.

Great little campground just off of I-10 at the Butte La Rose Exit. Not fancy but clean. They normally have a band on Saturday night, and it can get a little lively on the weekend, but very quite during the week. Fun, family atmosphere.
