Loved renting the surrie bike from Beach Bums! We walked in and were served right away - we rented the bike for an hour and they suggested a route to go. It was a lot of fun and the price was great for the hour rental! Would do it again for sure

We had a great experience working with Maddie and finding one of the only places on AMI that rent tandem bicycles. They provide helmets, lock, horn and even a headlight and taillight. A few online forms to sign and initial and your
card is charged the day of the rental. The delivery and pickup of your rental equipment is hassle free. I would definitely recommend.

We rented bicycles, chairs and an umbrella for a week. All of the equipment had been delivered to our rental and was waiting on us upon our arrival. Everything was in great condition and of good quality. Friendly staff, easy reservation process. We would definitely utilize Beach Bums for our rental needs when we return to AMI.

Rented 5 bicycles from Beach Bums. Spoke with Dirk on the phone before arriving to make our arrangements to have bikes delivered and picked up, which was a breeze. The bicycles were waiting for us in the driveway when we arrived. Their website claims that "all returned bicycles are serviced by their repair team", and I have absolutely no problem believing that. Bikes were all in tip top condition and came with locks, lights, a basket, and even a squeaker parrot on the handlebars to warn others of your approach as you rode. Bicycles are a MUST when staying on AMI. We were able to get everywhere we needed to go with our bikes or the free trolley. Dirk and co were so pleasant to work with and the bikes were in perfect condition. This company also offered the best prices I could find on the island. Great experience all around!

Easiest golf cart rental experience. We were literally in and out in less than 5 minutes with our reservation. Everything was explained to us, and had top notch customer service. Will be our place of choice for the future. Think Tony was his name, at least I hope it was. I'm terrible with names but He was awesome. (If he sees this review, make sure I got the name right so I can fix this review) Took our picture and remembered us each time we drove by the shop lol. Always asked us if we were good when we saw him.

This place is exceptional!! However….. don’t make the mistake we did and start at Robinhood rentals!!! - we started there and the guy working the desk seemed irritated at us for even asking for a rental….so we walked out and searched online and found beach bum rentals instead! The ladies at the Checkin were super helpful and friendly and the guy that set us up on kayaks was attentive and informative and fun too! I would highly recommend beach bum rental if you are wanting to paddle around AMI and see it’s natural beauty. They also gave us a better price than other rentals did! Gotta love a better deal and a happy attitude!

Called 2 minutes before close and they were friendly and helpful. I ordered two kayaks and they were delivered to the dock of my airBNB vacation rental that night. How amazing is that? Great job.

We have been coming to Anna Maria for about 15 years. Every time we want to rent something we have gone with Beach Bums. They have never disappointed us! Their team has always been friendly and very helpful! We have been kayaking through them every time we visit. I cannot say enough about the service, convenience, and people we have dealt with. My family and I vacationed in Anna Maria august of 2021 and it truly wouldn’t have been the same without beach bums! The initial guy that came out to provide us with our golf cart gave some great recommendations of the island and was very personable. On our second day on the island we unfortunately got a screw in the tire, but someone was out and fixed it within the hour. We had multiple outlets outside of our rental that wouldn’t work (which we were told beforehand this is very normal) and beach bums provided us with multiple extension cords on numerous occasions to make sure no matter where we had our cart parked we could find somewhere to plug it up. We are going back in June of 2022 and we will definitely be coming back to beach bums!!!

Rented kayaks and paddle boards here! Kayaks were 37 each and paddle boards were 50 something each. The lady at the desk was so sweet and helpful. They had a lot of cute things in the store. Kayaking was super fun and we were given lots of instruction and direction and it was quite helpful.

Very nice place! Our group rented bikes for the week while on the island and they delivered the bikes to our resort within a couple hours of ordering. Professional and pleasant to work with!

Love this place and another excellent experience! Friendly staff on the inside with informative and kind staff on the outside! We even had one staff member come pick up our bikes for us. When I tried to help him load them and offer a tip and he said, “Aww that’s nice boss but you’re on vacation and it’s all part of the job.” :)

Beach Bums has been my go-to for over a decade whenever I visit the coast. Their range of rental options, from golf carts to bikes, adds an extra layer of fun to my beach trips. The consistency in their service and quality of equipment is commendable, and their longevity speaks volumes about their reliability. Looking forward to more years of enjoyable rentals with Beach Bums! Shoutout to Kathy inside, Dierk and the guy that knows us every-time we get a golf cart.

Fantastic! We rented bikes for the whole two weeks we were there. Two adult bikes, one with a seat for our toddler, and one with a tag along attachment for our son. Our oldest had her own bike. They were at our rental when we got there. We had to switch out for a larger bike for my daughter and smaller helmet for my son and they were very accommodating. Helmets and baskets included as well as charming parrot horns. Bikes were good quality. Last time we were on the island we used a different company and the bikes were not in good shape but we were very impressed with Beach Bums. Will use again if we come back !

We had a great time on the tandem bike and then single bikes. Staff was very friendly bike worked very well.

All the employees were helpful and friendly. They were serious about customer service and their prices were great! Anna Maria Island is just a wonderful!

This kayaking location is the best I’ve ever been to. The ocean water here is much clearer and quieter than anywhere in st.pete(where I live). It really is a hidden gem.

This place is a cute little place and great for rentals. My kids were driving me crazy and it truly helped that the employees were super nice and helpful. We rented a Surry bike ( me and my 3 kids ages 7,8&11). The pedal came off 25 minutes into the ride. My son put it back on and it fell off again. We still finished our trip and then brought the bike back. We could have brought the bike backsooner, but I knew they were Closing at 5 ( and was to lazy to do so plus it made a fun memory) so we just laughed and still enjoyed the ride. We pulled up in the back where they were putting new bike's together and I let the gentlemen know what happened. He was awesome and told me he could fix it real quick and let is go back out. I told him " no we only had 5 minutes left" he offered to fix it and still let us go back out again. I told him " no we had a blast and could have brought it back sooner but we still had fun!" I thought that was very sweet! This place is awesome and great customer service!!! I live in Orlando but go to the gulf every other weekend since my son lives there. I also do a lot of Google reviews because I travel a lot for fun with my 5 kids and friends. I usually give fair ratings and only give 5 stars to places that are perfect! The Surry bike we rented was $20 for an hour ( for our needs)and the staff was super amazing and friendly! I do plan on going back to check out more rentals in the future.
