Get Real Cafe

Stopped by for lunch while on a trip to Sturgeon Bay and this place was so good! I have to eat gluten free so I ordered the BLT on gluten free bread and it was delicious. Also ordered their spicy chai which was equally delicious. We picked up a few of their to-go soups to enjoy at home. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Amazing. There's a reason this is the highest reviewed spot in the area. Per server recommendation got the French toast with a side of local pork sausage, and boy oh boy was that the right call. French toast was heartily above average, and the sausage was straight up incredible. Nice interior of the restaurant, food came quick, and very importantly the pice was very appropriate for the quality!

We enjoyed every bit of the Get Real Cafe! The people were friendly and food was delicious! I had the Free Bird on gluten free bread and it was BIG! Everything was so fresh! My partner had the Cuban on a spinach wrap and enjoyed every bite. We will be back for sure.

I enjoyed a hamburger with a side of carrots and hummus: very tasty! My wife had an excellent grilled cheese with pasta salad and it was also very good.
Staff members were extremely pleasant, enduring bad jokes and lame banter, without complaint.
All in all, a very pleasant experience... we will return.

This is the ultimate place to go if you have food sensitivities! I've been making this our family stop every time we get to Door County. I even take dishes to go so I can have dinner later with no issues! Employees and atmosphere are great! Sensitivities - Gluten. Dairy. MSG. Sugar.

Wonderful. All other superlative add to this review. This is what American local dining experiences should be all about. My wife and I did a recent lunch and breakfast here and were super impressed with the farm-to-table local vibe and extrordinary chef abilities behind the kitchen. Love the place. Keep up the gr8 job all!! You ROCK!! My wife and I also appreciated the inclusiveness of this cafe...friendly and warm. The USA needs more local establishments like the "Get 'Real' Cafe!"

Such a lovely lunch! Food was real and packed with flavor. The chicken sandwich was exactly what I wanted! Delicious juice as well. Super friendly service and bright, clean cafe. Will definitely visit again!

Our sailing group of 10-12 enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the week after Labor Day at Get Real when we attended our annual Melonseed Skiff Midwest Rendezvous. The service was personal and efficient and the food was creative and satisfying! The owners even gave us a tour of their beautiful kitchen. The care for food preparation is amazing. Their attention to organic and locally sourced foods was appreciated. A great place to eat!!!!! Get the orange juice!

When you need a break from cherry pie and fish fry in Door County, this is the perfect place to come and do something good for your body. Their fresh juice and smoothies will have you feeling healthier in no time, and their delicious sandwiches or wraps are a great to go option to grab for a picnic. Lots of gluten free and dairy free selections.

This is a great place for clean options for food. Delicious, “real” ingredients and lots of options. You can tell the chef has put thought into her menu. Great for kids. The servers were attentive and kind.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Airy and clean atmosphere. We tried the tuna melt and a ham, swiss sammie featuring uncured ham. Very friendly service.

I'm a celiac, so have to be careful to eat gluten free. I was happy to see that they take dietry requirements very seriously. They knew exactly how to handle it and even had a specific 'celiac' button to label my order for the kitchen.

Couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful toasted sandwich so I stopped by second time on my way back South. They even remembered my name and dietry requirement when I came back!

They have lovely outdoor seating and indoor as well. They're also being very COVID safe, with masks and hand sanitizer, so don't let that stop you.

Great Vegan options! Loved the Vegan Mexican burrito wrap. Most places that have Vegan options neglect the protein so it is refreshing to see an entree with beans and quinoa 😁

We were visiting from the Twin Cities, and were so incredibly impressed by this restaurant. The staff was “wow factor” friendly, the food was absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes, and the ambiance was fabulous with big windows, natural light, live plants and nice art. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Found these folks a couple years ago, and they are a regular stop each vacation up there. Great organic food, generous portions, gluten-free options, and very friendly staff.

GRC has it all—delicious freshly prepared menu made with organic, local ingredients chosen for seasonal availability prepare in a huge, clean commercial kitchen open to the dining room—see for yourself where the magic happens. Light and airy space with hella high ceilings, large windows, beautiful artwork and soft music—not the cramped and noisy spaces typical of most breakfast/lunch spaces. This is a quality operation in every way. Have the Cobb Salad with garlic ranch dressing for lunch—you won’t be disappointed!
