Stopped for a bottle of white wine I grabbed the last sauvigon blanc/ the clerk seemed reluctant to let it go as she offered me some canned white wine instead but I was able to purchase the bottle/ the price on the register said 11.89 and I handed her 12 and waited for eleven cents change but I was informed that it actually cost 12 even which struck me as odd but I'm not gonna argue about 11 cents just seemed odd as hardly anything comes out to an even dollar amount especially when the display shows a different price/ so whatever you get 5 stars because I am a generous person enjoy!

Great selection and super friendly staff. This is the type of place you come to the country for. Lots of old time charm. Will definitely be back.

Very friendly staff. For some reason when searching for beer, this place came up and upon arrival it turns out to be a mistake. I'm not from the area and am not completely familiar with NY liquor laws. Staff member was very helpful in helping me not only realize my mistake but also pointing me to a nearby Mobil station with a great selection. If wine or spirits was what I was after, they had a great selection to choose from as well.

Catskill Cellars is THE liquor store in the northern Sullivan County / southern Delaware County (NY) area. There are other liquor stores in a 15-mile or more radius but they tend to be boring: the kind that stocks all the mediocre national brands that decided long ago on a strategy of putting their money into advertising rather than quality. For an experience that far exceeds the usual conventional-selection, tile-floored, fluorescent-lit, bring-it-to-the-bored-cashier-and-escape-fast small-town liquor store, make Catskill Cellars your stop. The space is small but the choices are wide, including quite a few local, regional & artisanal wines and spirits; you may find yourself lingering over your decisions and juggling between "this time" and "next time" purchases. Julie is almost always there, and her life experience & travel shows in an eclectic selection that honors both quality and value.
