Ate here several times during a TDY. Owner was very engaging and I never had any issues with the food.

Great customer service by the manager. However it would be best if they had a list of ingredients they had that day as they always are out of key things.

This place went from ok...to outright awful. The service is, hands down, the worst service I have ever experienced. I used to go once a week or more when Dave owned it, but after he sold it to the new owners...wow, it went downhill fast. The owner’s daughter, (I think), runs the store and it is evident that she hates her job and hates the customers. RUDE, inconsiderate and argumentative are the nicest things I can say about her, so you catch how bad it is. You have to fight for a bag, for a little extra dressing and a receipt. She always has a sourpuss expression on her face, (RBF for sure), does not smile and when you ask for something, she makes you feel like she is bothered by your request. They throws the sandwich in a bag and other items around as if you mad her mad. I told her the soda machine was out of carbonation and she argued with me that it wasn't. The DP was just spewing syrup and the Pepsi and Sierra Mist were not carbonated. I challenged her to try it or to come look at the machine, but she refused. She said I could just grab a can in the cooler, but I "better not get a bottle" or I would "be charged extra." If you dare visit, don't say I didn't warn you, and it will take you all of 13 seconds to know who I am talking about. My advice, go eat an MRE...you will thank me.

I regularly go to this store because I work in the building, and as a last resort if I forgot my lunch I will go. The one who runs the register *If you've been here, you know who she is* (we'll call her Female #1) is always in a terrible mood (I can understand early mornings, because not everyone is a morning person but its ALL DAY!) and acts as though every customer is a burden. I have Never seen her smile, or even make eye contact with any customer. Her responses are always short, (definitely not sweet) and to the point. She hates talking to the customers. The place is usually filthy, and sometimes she doesn't even wear gloves when preparing the food. She's usually on her phone, and the other Female (Female #2) has to carry out the order without her.

Today, we did an experiment. Three of my coworkers went in when female #2 was the only one in there. She was polite, and helped them with a smile. One of my coworkers even asked to buy some of the zesty parmesean bread by itself because he had meatballs and no bread for a meatball sub. Female #2 was happy to sell it to him for $1.00, but warned him not to ask that when female #1 is around because "She wouldn't be as nice about it".

When my coworkers returned, it was my turn to go downstairs to the shop and request the same thing. So, i asked for zesty parmesean bread by itself, and Female #1 piped up and told me "We only sell white or wheat by istelf because people buy it for toast." I told her I wanted to have the zesty italian to make my own sandwich and she did NOT like that answer.

So, I bought my white bread for a dollar and left. Point being, dont expect Female #1 to be helpful or courteous about anything. She is not a people person, and NOT a customer person.

I would eat gas station sushi before I ate here again.. Take your money somewhere that you can at least get a smile out of the servers. At least the vending machines on the first floor say "Thank you, have a great day." when you buy something from them.
