49 West Coffeehouse, Winebar & Gallery

This is the first time coming to breakfast here after many years of stopping in at night. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The server, Lindsey, was also wonderful! Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the Rosemary Chicken Sandwich! Kind of a humble place but the atmosphere and food were excellent!
Note - Sunday around brunch, all the Cafe's on this part of Annapolis fill up, folks were waiting outside at the other Cafe's/Bistros. Though full too, got lucky with 49 West Coffeehouse as a party just left as we came in.

Great coffee, great breakfast, great vibes on West Street. It's small but there is plenty of indoor seating and two tables out front. The original fireplaces are so cool. Our server was sweet and helped me find a good whole bean to bring home. Wish I lived in walking distance to make this my morning spot!

Stopped in 49 West Coffeehouse this afternoon for a cold Iced Tea. The Employees are great and this place is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place to read or chat with a friend. JVATALARO

They have a small back room where we saw a live acoustic jazz band The Unified Jazz Ensemble great music great musicians had a wonderful date night out with my wife

What a cool place. They treated us so nice even though we just had a coffee and hot chocolate. Will definitely be back to try dinner

Great stmosphere. The live music was a wonderful addition to our dining experience. The food was made with quality ingredients and was presented in an appealing manor. They had vegan options for my guests, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

We ordered: Earl Grey Tea (my favorite) — Gun Powder Green (my boyfriends favorite) & a slice of Red Velvet.

Friendly staff and the best food I've had in months. They sometimes ha e a Groupon available, so check to see if it's available if you plan on visiting.

Great breakfast and lunch place with delicious healthy food and awesome coffee! I will definitely be going there everytime I am in town.

My friend and I made a day trip to Anapolis and arrived around lunch time. We stopped in and had the Brie appetizer it was delicious. The bread was nice and crusty and there was plenty of bread and crackers for the amount of cheese.
We then had a chicken salad sandwich it had nice flavors and the tots were so crispy.
The staff was friendly and fun to interact with. We both enjoyed our visit.
(Bathroom was clean which is always appreciated)

Always fun to listen to live music and be in good company!

A perfect combination for a coffeehouse, winebar, and gallery. The brie board and a glass of wine on the patio is a great way to spend a sunny day.

49 west is an Annapolis staple. Live music, outside seating. The owners are amazing & so is the staff. Unlike many other places down, this place is a cozy home away from home. Wifi, plenty of seating, and it's family owned.

This was our first stop in Annapolis and it did not disappoint. We drank Malbec and had the gazpacho soup. Cute little place with great service.

Great local coffee shop ambiance with various choices of treats and bites. Looking forward to return to enjoy live music performances and dinner.

A nice little place with dim lighting and some quiet jazz playing over the speakers.

The portions are good - for a plate of nachos, soup de jour with bread and a full sandwich is around $50 after tip… and that’s with leftovers.

Good food. Went for my birthday. The smoked salmon dish is really good, and plated beautifully (though a bit impractical to eat). Cozy place. Took my groupon with no problem.
EDIT: went back again with some family and was still a big hit. My 80 year old grandfather said it was the best lunch he has had in a long time, it is a big deal to get a compliment from him lol ( he got the open faced crab and shrimp sandwich). My grandmother loved her bean soup and said she never had anything like it before.Food was great, they definitely go heavy on cheese, crab, and cream here. Even the side salads had tons of topping on it like peppers and olives. The crab dip and crab quiche are very good. Since it is a coffee house the service is a bit relaxed, many people there were just enjoying some wine while doing stuff on their laptop, so you may need to send a small wave towards your server if you need anything. The server was very friendly, turns out he was the son of the owner. They have two rooms to eat, and some outdoor tables in front and behind (smokers seemed to use the back). If the back room is being used for an event it may be hard to find seating for groups over 6, we had 5 and were able to put 3 tables together. groups of 1-4 should have no problems though.

We had a large group and the waiter really worked to accommodate us all. Unified Jazz was terrific as always.
