San Joe’s Cantina Grill

Great looking restaurant inside and out, from the metal mariachi band out front welcoming you into a variety of seating from cozy booths in the back to two top tables by the awesome bar upfront,as well great social vibes through out.Service got a bit backed up so the owner himself began filling in ,from bussing tables to preparing our dinner and it was fantastic. Hats off to him for that thanks y'all it was great .

Came in for my wife’s sister’s birthday got set up by a great waitress in the booth I ask to move to an she was very nice to move us without question. Drinks we’re perfect appetizers as well. We all got our food around the some time so it was nice eating together everything was prepared perfectly. The entire table cost 💲 wise was about three hundred that five full dinners two margarita pitchers two rounds of shots ,one long island ice tea, four bottles beer , one Blue MF and we we’re happy to pay the tab an tipped our wonderful waitress twenty an the bartender a twenty. We’re pretty sure it’s gunna become an recurring birthday celebration place for times to come.thank you Sam joes for the great time and experience!!!!!!

This place is an absolute hidden gem in Albany. The clean and friendly environment was warm, and welcoming. I could tell from the smells in the air that this was a genuine kitchen and not a basic experience. Plan to come again, sad I lived so close and missed out on such a classy joint.

Whyyyyy is the food so good!!!!!! I promise you will have to go to know!! I'm not to fond of the street tacos the tortillas taste like meal, unless they are supposed to taste like that. That was my first time having street tacos though. But it's a great place for date night!! Which is where we went tonight!! I love it there!! Service was excellent!! Food was even better!! All I can say is if you haven't been GO!! And if you've been go again!! It is worth it! You won't be disappointed 😉

An amazing experience! The staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant was very clean and had an amazing, relaxed aymosphere. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back!

Good food and service was great. Tacos were amazing. Drinks were good once we found one the bar tender could make.

Server was very friendly. Restaurant 🍴 wasn't very busy. So we had our order quickly. I had a combination number 3 if I remember correctly. 🌮 taco and 2 enchiladas with either rice 🍚 or beans. Got the beans. Good cheese 🧀 dip.

I never give five stars. A five star rating has to be earned and San Joe's earned it on my very first visit. Service was professional, friendly, efficient but not forward or flirty.
The place was very clean. The food was perfect. It was hot, fresh, and delicious.
I had a half order of William's Special with beef and chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. The steak was tender and flavorful. I was very impressed.
San Joe's is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Albany, Georgia.

3 of the 4 meals that we ordered were incorrect when we picked them up (which has never happened before, they always get our orders right). Liz was amazingly kind and helpful. She was very apologetic and had our order fixed immediately. She went above and beyond to correct the error in the best way possible with the least amount of inconvenience to us. She turned a negative experience into a positive one with her friendly demeanour and willingness to help. We very much appreciated her assistance and the other ladies that we spoke to on the phone. Even though they were very busy, they took the time to help us in the best way possible. Thank you to Liz and her team. Please know that you made our night and we sincerely appreciated your help and kindness.

Greeted at the front door by the owner, service was excellent. Food was superb. Fast service and my glass was never empty. All brand new staff, if you've ever been here and had bad service. Go back and try it again!

Food was fairly decent. My friend had a whole fish which was an experience. We had to go early because of our movie time.

What an amazing new restaurant! We were pleased with all experiences; the food, cleanliness, our server Cindy was so sweet, the music, atmosphere, and…the guacamole and margaritas are TOPS. Everyone should try San Joe’s!

Other than having to ask for the garlic sauce that's supposed to come with the garlic shrimp, everything was good.

The food here is great, the service is great, and the atmosphere is great as well.

The food is oh so good.the service was suprising efficient considering the epidemic. They comply with c.d.c guidelines. And a fellow named Ramarow,I swear nicest fellow I've ever met.

We were part of a VERY large party, that came in at least an hr before close... the staff was awesome and friendly. My cup was never empty and the food was so good.
