Absolutely loved this quaint restaurant. The atmosphere is awesome, outdoor seating was beautiful. All of the food was really good. Definitely will be back!

Exceptional customer service, the food was flavorful and delicious.We celebrated my sissy birthday ,love that they have vegan options, everyone in our group enjoyed their food and drinks.

Great vegetarian chooses to pick from, I got the Greek spinach wrap that was delicious. Came with a tasty dill potato salad. Husband got the fish sandwich which came with a mix of sweet potato fries and regular, they were so good. Had some local beers on tap. Great outdoor seating in a very pretty setting. Also some vegan picks.

My husband and I just finished having lunch at Cafe Karibo, and it was delicious. I had the Turkey Cuban with a side spinach salad, and he had the Pastrami Reuben with the loaded potato soup. The breads were particularly good, the sandwiches were so flavorful and our sides were perfect. The lemonade and Arnold Palmer were refreshing and it was so nice to get refills to take with us on our drive down the coast. Alissa was a wonderful server, friendly, attentive and agreeable with the customizations we requested.
We sat outside which was lovely. They even provide wearable blankets with sleeves in case it’s a little chilly. We highly recommend Cafe Karibo.

Such a great place. Local gem. Great restaurant, gorgeous patio area, friendly and fast service. The crab dip was awesome, the shrimp salad just like my Southern grandmother made. Everything we had was fantastic and fairly priced. Don’t forget dessert!

We enjoyed a private dinner in the Cafe Karibo event space upstairs, with food, drinks and service provided by the Cafe's chefs and staff.

The event was a huge success, and the food and service were nothing short of exceptional. Just check out the special menu and photos and know that it was a truly memorable night.

We already loved Karibo for their Sunday brunch food and dog-friendly patio, and I've been here many times for lunch with friends which were all great. But the talent showcased last night put the restaurant in a new light for me. Thanks to everyone involved.

Full menue of appetizers, small plates, specialty salads (maybe 6 offerings...Couscous salad is Wonderful, as well as the spicy Thai Noodle salad), amazing seafood and steak entrees along with more simple offerings. Reasonable portions and reasonably priced for what is served.
Presentation is creative and delicious.

Service is top notch, aiming to accommodate most any requests. Very warm and friendly. Well staffed in all areas.

I stopped in to Cafe Karibo for brunch while walking around Fernandina Beach. I was served an excellent fried flounder sandwich, topped with fresh field greens and thousand island dressing. I finished the meal with a fresh baked cranberry muffin. The service was efficient, and prices are reasonable. The venue also has a wonderful patio for outdoor dining.

Everything is always delcious here!! This is our second time having a meal here and the food is always fresh and scrumptious. They have a variety on the menu including wonderful vegetarian, vegan, and Mediterranean options which are difficult for us to find. Generous portions! The berry cobbler is our favorite dessert so far. We enjoy their outdoor seating.

Cozy and charming atmosphere downtown, inviting outdoor seating with plenty of shade, and delightfully satisfying food! The coffee was not bitter and so smooth I didn't even use sugar or cream. The mango green tea was a refreshing and tasty way to cool down from a hot day walking around downtown.

The shrimp and grits were amazing with a decent amount of kick but not so much as to overpower the other nuanced flavors within the dish. The chef's special on the day we went was a grouper taco dish. The sauce on the tacos was pretty hot so if you can't tolerate spicy foods, you may want to ask for them to hold the sauce. Otherwise, I personally loved the sauce! The fish in the taco was cooked nicely and overflowed the taco which provided a wonderfully fulfilling lunch!

Sitting outside felt like a semi-Tibetan retreat from the rest of the world! There was plenty of shade help to beat the Florida heat but it still felt bright and cheerful as well!

Had the crab queso dip appetizer to start and really wanted to lick the bowl!! All dishes we had were delicious and beautifully prepared. Our server Megan topped off the evening with great friendly service. We will be back!

We ate here for my wife's birthday and fell in love with this place! They offer are wide variety of different foods. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat at on the Island. The outside seating is very nice other than the loud slamming door. I highly recommend the Mahi Sandwich!

Came into town and wanted to grab a quick bite. Many places were closed on Monday afternoon, but not Cafe Karibo. Food was tasty! Smokedsaon and Philly cheese were great. We are definitely coming back

So I’m a potato salad snob. I’m extremely picky about potato salad and I am constantly disappointed. The sandwiches and wraps here come with potato salad as the default side and I prepared myself to take one bite and ignore the rest.
Turns out they have the perfect potato salad. Chucks of potato are just right, not minced or sliced into oblivion. Just the right amount of dressing, seasoned perfectly. I’m in love!

From now on, we will eat here every single time we come to town.

If I lived close to this restaurant I’d weigh 300 pounds. I would be unable to resist!

This is my new favorite restaurant when I go to Fernandina. Great service and great food. And despite going right at dinner time we got right in. They have a lot more seating than it looks like. I had the shrimp and grits. It was the best I've ever had. You can't go to Fernandina without checking out this place.

When we visit the island, Cafe Karibo is always our must stop!! From the outdoor waiting area, outdoor patios for dining, good service, to the amazing food!! We had the carbonara pasta, pan seared scallops with red potato mash, & vegetables and they were both amazing! It is also kid friendly with great options!

Nice outdoor patio, great waitstaff and fabulous food. Yes we would visit again and again if we lived in Fernandina.

Finally tried this place yesterday for lunch. The food, service and atmosphere was great. Everything was fresh and delicious. I got the turkey cuban and the garlic mayo on it was so delicious. My husband got the calypso chicken sandwich and said it was also delicious. We will be back to try out the dinner menu.

It was a wonderful lunch, meeting my cousins for long lunch. They were very accommodating!
