Amazing layout with a very wide selection of meats and cheeses as well as sauces and seasonings. The store also has basic produce, dairy, and grocery staples along with alcohol and soda. Friendly staff and overall a great store.

Love coming here! The employees are always fast and efficient along with being the most friendly and welcoming. We will definitely continue coming back monthly 🙃

Staff was very friendly, pointed out good deals. Great selection of meats and cheese. Was excited to see lamb and duck! Sushi made fresh. Large alchohol selection. Clean atmosphere. Would like to see them extend their hot sauce selection but will for sure be coming back.

Great for your bbq needs. This is a quick place to grab anything you might need for a cookout! High quality Fareway meats and a wide liquor, beer and wine selection. They send out great coupons in the mail once a month also. Fareway prides and quality.

Love the meat market!!!! They are very knowledgeable with all the different kinds of meats there are. A wide variety of meat from beef to Pork to chicken to brats to Seafood. Plus they have a small store inside as well. Will definitely be going back here a lot.

I'm from Indiana and these prices are 2 to 3 times cheaper! Everything is fresh. Workers are knowledgeable and very nice. I love this place.

All Iowans know Fareway is noted for its excellent meat department's. The Fareway Meat Markets take it up another knotch. I know- hard to believe.. Outstanding meat, poultry, and fish options. Great steaks and salmon. If I'm hosting something special - I go there. They also have hard to find groceries there as well. If you like meat - this is a must do!

Love their sushi counter and There selection or meats are fantastic. They will happily accommodate speciality cuts and are fair priced. Yummy breakfast sausage and brats as well.

Extremely clean. Nearly brand new building. Selection was pretty big for being a smaller building. Prices weren't bad at all. Pretty large alcohol selection and the same goes for cheeses and sauces.
They also have s little sushi fridge that wasnt anything crazy but its there.

I just got the sushi and pork dumplings! Amazing!

We usually find something unique here whether it's a good priced meat, a fun snack item like a meat/cheese tray or a unique beer. Usually find something!!

Solid selection of raw meats and alcoholic beverages. Smaller cooler and freezer sections for deli meats and hamburger patties. Full selection of sauces and condiments just inside the door.

Surprising note: They have the best sushi in Ames since the Shogun in the same area closed down last year.

Sometimes you just want the best meat, packaged nicely by an attentive crew. This is the place when that's what you want. Great selection of traditional meat market groceries, wine/beer/liquor, cheeses, and grilling supplies.

Super friendly customer service, fantastic selection of meats, even some fresh produce and breads. They have a nice selection of wines and cheese too. I will only get our meat from fareway. Everyone elses meat is flavorless.

Meat counter looked clean and fresh. Employees very friendly. Just enough dry groceries to pair with your meats but not so much that it feels like a grocery store full of stuff you didn't come for
