I love knowing this business is owned by someone who has such a passion for these crafts and prioritizes ensuring someone new to the hobby will undoubtedly be as passionate as he above all else. I bought an old model train at an estate sale and brought it in for service. I never once felt pressured to buy out the store. Instead, I learned so much about what I had purchased for my son, including important facts about safe operation I never would have otherwise known. The set came back pristine, time was taken to show me how to operate it, and the cost was beyond fair. The best part? They told me if my son enjoys the set and starts getting into the hobby I should bring him to the store to get the right “starter” for him at a very fair deal; by the looks of things we will probably be doing just that! Highly recommend checking this store out - they know their stuff!

I'm new to the hobby, got a starter set and stopped in today. The shop is very well organized and easy to see everything. They will point you right where you need. If you don't see something just ask and they can find it for you. The passion and enthusiasm for model trains is alive and well with the staff and the store itself. The prices seemed fair but the tips and knowledge shared by them added alot of value to the products they have. I believe I will be coming back often.

A few years ago we were here to get a Christmas train set. The staff helped us pick one out and we also purchased some accessories. The set is still going strong under our tree each year!

He is very knowledgeable about his products, and his enthusiasm for the train/hobby collections makes it extremely fun to shop. I found the prices to be beyond fair, and loved the extra tips and advice he gave me. Also does repairs if needed and fairly priced. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible. had a nice experience there today, nice to know there are hobby shops close by, brought my husband for his birthday to get him some additional tracks and a train car. staff was very helpful. yes it's a little more expensive but you get what you want right away along with the knowledge. Always great being able to support our small businesses.

Great selection of merchandise.. excellent service and owner is very knowledgable about the products available.. If you're in to N-Scale trains then this is the place to shop. GREAT customer service and Great selection of N-Scale locos, cars, buildings and track. They also carry other train scales (HO & O) along with some R/C stuff. I'm finding it harder and harder to find a hobby shop that carries as much N-Scale model train stuff as this shop does without having to travel long distances. I've been going there for years, for my dad's vintage Lionel set. The owner and staff are extremely helpful with us less educated patrons. I highly recommend it.
