Loved this place! If your looking to adopt a cat please don't pass this place by. If your a cat lover please support by giving these kitties an hour of your time. They have a coffee bar with delicious coffees to enjoy. Reservations are made online in advance.

It is always a one of a kind experience here. I really enjoy stopping by to hang out with the cats! Really happy they are expanding so more kitties can be adopted. We adopted our cat from the Twin Cities Pet Rescue, of which Cafe Meow is partnered with!

Granddaughter was so happy with all the cats! So much fun!! Then later a Brownie and a huge cookie for Grandma! Wonderful service staff is very knowledgeable about the cats and such a great atmosphere!!!

We got the Cafe Meow iced and it was amazing, the cats are so sweet and adorable and the staff was super friendly. Will go to this place again.

I always love coming to The Cafe Meow, either for special occasions or just to unwind. The cats are so precious -- it's fun to play with them and watch them napping or playing with each other. Most importantly, we adopted our second cat from them! The experience was stress-free, and I could tell the rescue wanted to make sure our baby ended up in the perfect home. I love the coffee and the macaroons too, along with chatting with the baristas and sharing fun stories about the cats. Pro-tip: I recommend coming at 10 a.m. or as close to opening as possible. The cats are ready to play and haven't gotten tired yet! Also, be sure to bring money for cat toys. The ones they sell are a favorite in our household, and the only ones durable enough to stand what our cats put them through.

Such a wonderful experience. My family recently lost our beautiful dog unexpectedly and coming here was absolutely necessary and therapeutic. The cats were all so sweet and loved humans, they really seemed to be cared for. I also really appreciated that our business helped support local no-kill shelters.
This is definitely something I’d like to come back to monthly with my family.

I live in Texas but I travel to Bloomington, MN a lot and one place I have to go AT LEAST once per trip is the Cafe Meow. I make it a point to find a Cat Cafe anywhere I travel and this is just a gem! I haven't been to the New Hope location yet but it's on my TO DO list. The cafe is adorable, the kitties are sweet as pie and the coffee is tasty (try a cute cat macaroon too!). I always end up buying some merch before I leave as well - super-cute merch. I highly recommend visiting the cafe and if you have the opportunity, fall in love with a cat and adopt that sweet baby! :)

The staff was friendly and our drink was very good. One piece of feedback would be even though there are cat bios posted on the wall, it's so hard to tell these cats apart! There are some hints like who is wearing what color collar, but we found that to be hit or miss (for instance, one cat noted to have a purple collar didn't have one at all). It would be super helpful to have one staff member in there monitoring and helping people.

The attention is 100/10. They have various products to consume, similar to other cafeterias. In addition, they have different products such as t-shirts and stickers, which give a special "touch" to the place.

You can visit the coffee shop just to have a coffee or my favourite part, to be able to do it in the company of the cats that are there. What I love about this place is that they are rescue cats. At the time I went, there were 19 rescue cats, and all of them are available for adoption through local rescues. They have a fee to be able to be in the cat section, if you want it to be something safe during your visit, I recommend you make an appointment on their main page.

Beautiful setup, nice space, great coffee and treats, the staff was really nice and accommodating and the cats look well taken care of 😻👍🏾

Way more cats than I was expecting! There were at least 20, so plenty of cats to play with and pet. The service was excellent too, very helpful guidance.

I just went yesterday for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was our first time going to a cat cafe! The experience was phenomenal. We had such a good time and we are definitely coming back often! The staff were super friendly and inviting and it was an easy going process to get an appointment set up.
Also, the music here is immaculate (I told the worker yesterday, had to make sure she knew the playlist she was playing was *chefs kiss*) petting cats and listening to old emo throwbacks created the best atmosphere and vibe, hands down. 🫶🏻
The only thing I would say that I had questions on that seemed a little off putting to me was that the cats who didn’t want to socialize or may have been overstimulated or just wanting to be left alone for the day, have no where to go and no where to decompress in peace and it did seem like the cafe books appointments back to back so the cats have no alone time to chill. Other than that, we will be coming back often! 10/10 experience.

I made a quick appointment online because my daughter requested to go for her 7th birthday. The website is very easy to navigate and we were very glad they keep updated the cat staff currently there. Is so nice to learn their names! The kitties were a bit energized because there were several people inside but even so we had a great time petting and giving cat treats. We really enjoyed the beverages and the cat space, as well as the staff that were very clear in the instructions to follow. Definitely recommend this outing for a big kid. What a unique and lovely place. I was excited to know there is a car cafe in Minneapolis.
I booked my appointment online which was easy and no problems 10 dollars during the week. They do say you can try to go without booking but I didn't. Me and my mom love cats so I wanted to guarantee time and space to check the kitties.
In the place there is two areas, one which is the cafe and the other is where the cats stay. You can come to the cafe at any time, order what you want and they have seats available just for the cafe area.
Now to see the cats you need to pay so just fyi. However you can see the cats through a window which is cute.
For parking in their website they do give tips of where to park, but basically is on the streets. In front of kinda hard to get parking due to lots of shops around too but around the block is easy to find and it's free.
I would love to comeback soon. All the cats were lovely.

This was our first time at The Cafe Meow and it was so much fun! The drinks were delicious, the staff was very sweet/helpful, and playing with the kitties was so relaxing. We will definitely come again! ❤

INCREDIBLE!! The cats are all so wonderful and friendly, and they're very kind and temperamental. The fact that they allow the cats to get adopted from the shop? Even better! And the drinks and food are wonderful, and the merch is ADORABLE. 10/10 recommend. The wait is worth it and the house specialty drink is a mocha with butterscotch and cinnamon that is worth every cent. You will NOT regret stopping by! Even if you just sit and watch the cats play :)

Loved the board games they had in cafe sections! Appreciate the spot for cats to hide in room so they don't get too overwhelmed.
Merch was cute! Stickers are reasonably priced.
My drink was good, ordered a pink panther. My friend ordered hot chocolate and said it wasn't that great. Otherwise experience was awesome! Would go again if it was nearer to me

My 11-year-old REALLY wanted to come here for her birthday party. I read the info online, then emailed the owner to request an exclusive group reservation, which they were happy to do for $150. We had 7 tweens/teens and 2 adults, myself included. (Group reservations must be under 10 people, and groups of children must have 2 adults to supervise.) We got there a little before our reservation so the kids could have birthday treats and hot chocolate. The cafe sells coffee, milk steamers with different flavors, and hot cocoa, plus a few baked goods on the side. The girls chose a humongous brownie and a couple of gigantic T Rex cookies in various flavors. The treats were a hit. The cocoas were ready just before our reservation window opened, so we got to bring them in the cat lounge with us.

We really went for the cats, and we were not disappointed. In the cat lounge, there are cats, cats everywhere! It was a large room converted into cat heaven. We kept discovering more cats hiding around as our hour went by. All of the cats' pictures were on a bulletin board with their name and info. There were black cats, calicos, gray tabbies, orange tabbies, tortoise shells, and solid gray. They were all beautiful, each from a partnering rescue agency. Various cat toys were strewn around. The girls had so much fun playing with and petting the kitties. 😺

If you are a cat lover, you will love this place. The cats looked well taken care of. They do take walk-ins for the cat lounge; we just made a reservation because of our group size. You can also watch the cats through a large window in the cafe if you'd rather not pay to go in. They have cat merchandise for sale too. Very cute cat-friendly place.

Such good vibes here all the time! I went to the one in New Hope when I visited Minneapolis about 6 years ago, and now that I've moved back to the Cities I knew I had to go again.

I went to cat yoga at the Minneapolis location and simply loved it. It was late at night so the whole kitty crew was very relaxed. The yoga instructor was really awesome too and worked with everyone's comfort level and needs.

I went again yesterday to de-stress and also had a wonderful time. I went around noon and the cats were SO playful! Cafe Meow knows how to put the best bunch in a room. I was even blessed and lucky enough to have Marilyn climb on me! I had a Pink Panther and a cranberry scone too, both delicious. (make sure to keep an eye on your snacks, some cats like Marilyn cannot resist them either 😸) Can't wait to come back soon ✨🐈‍⬛🐈✨

We paid for coffee and for spending an hour with the cats in the lounge yesterday. I really enjoyed my time there. The cats were very friendly. One jumped into my friend's lap and fell asleep for over half an hour. We had to wake up the cat because our time was done in the lounge. Great place if you love cats! Staff if very friendly and coffee was tasty.
