La Esmeralda Mexican and Seafood Restaurant

On my first visit, I ordered two asada, two breaded fish and two chicken hard shell tacos. Service was totally friendly and fast. Gotta say, this looks like our new go-to spot for authentic-style Mexican food!

Whole hearty home meals at a fair price. The vegetables fresh, salsa spicy and draft beers are all excellent. Great for a family meal or in town in a group.

I would definitely consider this place one of the best places to eat authentic Mexican food.

Good mexican food, one of the best places I've been when it comes to a family restaurant/ bar. The deals on food are great and the deals on beer are better. The people who work there are great. The owner is a truck driver and the manager is his wife who is as sweet as can be. I can't wait to go back .

I truly miss going to eat at La Esmeralda with the family. Service is excellent and the food is definitely the most authentic Mexican tasting that I've had in SCV.
The seafood dishes are like the ones I've eaten in Mazatlan and the rice tastes like my mom's! That was the clincher.
I am looking forward to dining in again an having a cold beer with my delicious meal.

Absolutely delicious!! My family and I have been coming here for the last 10 months. We've yet to have a subpar visit. The
waiter/tresses are very kind and friendly, regardless of how busy they are. The food is Always Hot & Delicious. It is a family owned restaurant with the owner/couple Junior & Sylia being wonderful and gracious hosts. If Authentic Mexican home cooked meals are what you are looking for La Esmeralda will not disappoint.

The BEST tamales I've ever had.( Other than my Grandmother's),also in my opinion the best tacos de pastor in the SCV! Wonderfully kind and helpful family restaurant. This is now a weekly stop!

The sports bar here is small but excellent. *Shhhh! Don't tell, it will get even more crowded!* My sweetheart and I love watching sports here while eating nachos and posole.

The camarones imperiales was delicious. Home made Birria and tortillas were to die for. And last but not least agave mango margaritas to complete the evening. My only regret is how long it took for me to try this place. The service was wonderful. Five stars for sure!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Clarita. The staff makes you feel like family and the food is authentic. You cant go wrong with the shrimp a la esmeralda (or the green costillas)! Whenever my family comes to visit from out of town, this is the place I take them to.

Since we discovered La Esmeralda, my hubby and I go at least twice a week... Our date nights are wonderful and our wallet is very happy because we don't spend as much as we used to at La Cocina... I've almost tried every single dish and they are all DELICIOUS!!!! Mango Margaritas are 2-die-for! Large is only $5!!!!!!
Family owned... I loved the owners!!! And waiters and cook!!!
From a Mexican point of view... This is the closest I've tried in regards AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD... Includes handmade tortillas!!!
Listen people... You are willing to wait 30-50 min to be seated at La Cocina... I'm telling you, it so much worth it to wait at La Esmeralda!!! (I've heard people complaining on how long it takes to get your food and such...) my friends at La Esmeralda cook every dish as soon as you order so it's always fresh... Not microwaved!

WOW!!! We have finally found our favorite new mexican restaurant. Talk about authentic and fresh and just killer mexican food with such great quality and great prices. This is the place. We are now ordering from here at least once a week. The best Mexican food in town!

Good food and good service. Great place to watch the Dodger games. Beer specials during the Dodger games too. Try the ceviche tostadas and the oysters on the half shell are fresh too.

We love La Esmeralda's the food is extremely good. Always have sports on. They only serve beer, but the food is wonderful. I had pazole tonight! It was great.

Definitely feels like a locals spot, really chill with great staff. You wait for your food, cause they are cooking it😂, results are awesome. Come for the tacos and stay for the staff!

Great service, awesome AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food! the owners are very attentive. Highly recommend. There wasn't authentic MEXICAN food in Santa Clarita until LA ESMERALDA moved in.
