I absolutely LOVE this boutique. The clothes are made for comfort and flexibility. I invested (and continue to invest) in so many pieces because the clothes seem as if they are made for me. Always long enough, hits the curves right where I need them to…it’s amazing. The flexibility factor is real… I have one dress that I’ve worn in a park with tennis & a Jean jacket, to the club with boots, and to an evening event with different shoes & accessories. Her clothes are pragmatic, flexible, and fun at the same time. You can turn one item into many looks, expanding your wardrobe in ways unimaginable. Additionally, everything is made to build upon others so the tones, and materials tend to mix well. On top of everything else, her staff is AMAZING! you feel nothing but warmth when you walk in this store. You’re definitely in for a treat if you happen to run into Taylor! I've been seeing ads for Taylor Jay and finally decided to place an order. I wanted to support their mission of empowering women AND get some elevated comfortable fashionable basics as my annual Christmas present to me 😊. I just received my order and I am THRILLED!! I just got my outfit today! I am so excited to patronize a local black owned business. The turnaround time from the time I purchased to the time I received it was great. The fit is perfect and comfortable. I can't wait to wear it. I also cannot wait to purchase something else. I loved the card and the wrapping paper that my outfit came wrapped in as well! I've ordered face covers from Taylor Jay twice now. They are so soft, durable, comfortable and thick. I've washed & dried them in laundry machines (inside a mesh bag) countless times and they remain in good shape. Plus, my orders arrived quickly. I'm so pleased. Thank you, Taylor Jay!

I wandered in here one afternoon and fell in love with the two shirts that I bought on sale. I'm a tall woman with curves and it's hard to find things that fit well, much less just fit. I tried on the two shirts when I got back to the hotel (very simple, soft crop toppy shirts, one in lavender and one in light green terry) and immediately was in heaven. That was two weeks ago and I have to say that I wear one of them almost every day. They look great on me and they feel great on me. I wish I lived closer so that I could peek in every once in a while!

There are so many things that I love about the Taylor Jay collection! I'll start with the wrap skirt.

I exclusively wear this piece as a wrap dress instead of a wrap skirt. I am a size 16 with a DD bust and it is a DREAM! I have worn it to brunch several times as a strapless dress and women LITERALLY have called down from their apartment walkways to compliment me while I walked by. I also wore the stress as a halter to a wedding and again, received compliments left and right. The best part....these compliments came for a piece that felt like pajamas!! I love pieces that require zero effort but look like I'm trying.

I also love the mission of Taylor Jay. A week ago she was at Sole Space in Oakland and we got talking about her line. She is incredibly kind and welcoming and loved hearing how her clothing made me happy and how it is helping women bond and unite (remember the complements from the apartment walkway 🤣) in a world that often times tells us that we are competitors. I am now even more happy to contribute to a small business that ultimately wants to empower and make our community better.

The clothes are well tailored and are of excellent fabric quality. My most recent purchase was a floral print jumper. It fit me to a T. I received so many compliments that I lost track of how many. One individual told me that I was the best dressed woman he had seen all night! 😳😊😆 I was literally on cloud nine. My Hubby loved it too. As a frame of reference, I'm 5'10 at 150lbs. The size small in this collection fits my frame like custom made items.

Great mask. Love the fabric which is breathable and protective with just the right amount of material. Also the colors they offer are very chic, and the fit is also very good. Good size that offers great coverage extending under the chin as well. Love this mask!

Ahhh - These clothes have changed my life! Right after purchase - I feel like I wore the same ones for several days straight...as they are SO comfy, ultra versatile, and the look is effortlessly fly!
I first learned of the this collection years ago and thought "great design & how perfectly practical"...yet didn't have a chance to purchase. I am so happy for the growth of an amazing black woman designer's business and I could easily only wear Taylor Jay from now on (did I mention how comfy the clothes are?!)...Anyway, I highly recommend and am excited for what's to come from the TJ collection.

Taylor Jay Collection is amazing. It feels and looks so good. I have a number of pieces, but my favorite is the jumpsuit. It's so chic and can go from day to night. I always get so many compliments when I'm in Taylor Jay. Im a forever fan.
