Urbane Cafe

I just love this place. I love the fresh and very tasty food. I come all the time and love the warm welcome when I come in. Because I eat there so I’ve met the regular great staff Jose, Rosie, Annette, Manuel and Miguel. They all seem to take pride in customer service, keeping the place clean and inviting. Thank you all!

Absolutely love this place and atmosphere here! Tasty food, big plates, clean restaurant, not very loud inside.
It was my first visit to Urban Cafe, but not the last! Recommend for lunch or diner!

I love this cafe!! Great service and delicious sandwiches. My default is Santa Maria BBQ, but I also love the So Cal. 10000% better than Panera. They have a great selection for catering as well.

The ahi Tuna bowl did not disappoint!! Then again, nothing at urbane cafe does. Always satisfied with my meal of choice. If you're a fan of Ahi Tuna. I recommend the bowl or salad. Enjoy!

The food is five stars. Fresh and well priced. The bread is made there and really tasty. However, I am disappointed that they have bowls/plates that they wash but provide all disposal utensils and cups. I would give it five stars if for then to have reusable utensils and cups that get washed instead just trashing. I would think a place like this with a healthy more modern thinking would be better at providing earth conscious options.

Their recycling bin is confusing and doesn't list off what can be recycled, so people end up throwing away things that can be recycled.

Also, the vegetables options are wonderful however they have dishes like the pesto & sun-dried tomato (which is usually vegetarian) but they only offer it with meat. They should offer it vegetarian with the upgrade cost of meat versus making you omit meat and not lowering the price.

Wow. Someone recommended I try this place. I had never heard of it and right down the street (welcome to the neighborhood).
It was during lunch and super packed so not sure if always this busy.
However, when the food came the Ahi Tuna was amazing. Fresh ingredients and lots of little touches that made the salad blend into a great lunch.
I normally don’t eat a lot of bread? And the little roll that came out with it was soft and delicious.
Will try to come again off hours and try a rice bowl next time. Great start.

Finally went to Urbane in AG! Had them years ago in SLO and never forgot how good it was. The menu has such healthy options. Had to leave a review because the cashier who helped me was just so nice and incredibly professional! I added salmon to a Mediterranean bowl and it was amazing. Thanks to that worker for being so kind!

Great chain of restaurants in the SLO
area. They care about the source and quality of their ingredients….mostly local and natural ingredients. Excellent taste!

Did take out twice in one week. Very good food. Made fresh. Servedd up quickly. Fair pricing too. Not too many tables inside.

I visited this restaurant and opted for the roasted chicken sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and had a delightful smoky flavor that made each bite a treat. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.

Delicious food in a great location right off the 101 and tucked behind the movie theatre..the staff is always very helpful and friendly and the food is consistently good!

Amazing food. The bread was the star. It was really fresh and tasty.

Stopped here for a quick recharge. Super clean and great tasting food. Reminds me of chipotle in some ways.

Five star is not enough for Urbane Cafe. I order Salmon Bowl on Tuesday night on DoorDash. The food was a little cold when the food arrived at my door but hey that was not the driver fault nor the cafe fault. It the distant the UC to my house so no complaint on that I do not mind. I just heat it up a little bit and ready to eat. I am impress with the food so delicious. I am dealing with high blood pressure and the Salmon bowl is the way to go that I am going to order another one. Food quality is great. I think I can make it on my own it look very easy to make. Thank you Urbane Cafe your food is fresh seem like home made fresh made. I will be a repeat.

Tasty and relatively healthy fast casual restaurant with a nice variety of sandwiches and salads.

I was in a hurry for lunch and forgot this area even had an Urban Cafe. I was excited when I pulled in for fantastic food. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind. My order was ready right away. The food was amazing. I will definitely be back again!!

We are new to the area from the Central Valley and found the Arroyo Grande Urbane Cafe one day looking for lunch. What we experienced was not only amazing food and value but the employees are truly top notch! We have brought all our friends as they come to visit us and they too have been excited about the food. Shout out to Roxy, she has even remembered our names! We feel like family, not just another customer. Next time you are looking for a different place to eat, pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed! We suggest the Santa Maria BBQ sandwich. Chuck and Sandy
