Got us back in the road. General tire lost tread, is better than a blowout. I could still move at about 10mph.

Staff was very friendly and didnt stop until they done what I asked as quickly as possible even after they ran out of time they stayed after closing time to ensure the full job was done.

I visited TLE yesterday and wanted to share. I asked for a synthetic oil change on a 2020 Kia Stinger. If I recall correctly the price would have been $59.99 plus tax. That sounded reasonable as my oil alone is over $30. After forty-five minutes a technician called my cellphone and said the associate recorded my oil as 5W-30. He told me the engine takes 0W-30 and it would be an additional $40 on top of the original price. Apparently 0W is not included in the package. I thanked him for letting me know and declined the oil change.

0W-30 is a very common weight. Why was this an issue? Was I supposed to tell the first associate which oil to use? While I could have provided that information I’m not confident the majority of drivers can. To be clear the manual calls for 0W or 5W.
